Purr-fect Halloween Aug 2016I absolutely adore this stamp set!  I am a huge Halloween fan and not to mention it features my nickname :-). I am looking forward to doing so fun creations with this stamp set.  The first idea that came to mind was this card.

Purr-fect Halloween ~ Aug SOTM 2016 ~ Watercoloring ~ Artbooking ~ CatScrapbooking.comI watercolored the background as I wanted to give the effect of a midnight sky with the moon coming through.  I realized I could not use a black cat so I went for an orange kitty.

Technique Blog Hop ~ Color Your World

Color your worldThis month we are featuring the very popular Coloring technique!  Adult coloring has become quite the rage these days.  Did you know you can create your own using stamps?  Then pick your favorite tool to color – markers, pencils, or watercolors.   If you just hopped onto my blog or arrived from KIRSTEN JADE’S Blog then you are in the right place.  This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork.

I love the Hawaiian Hibiscus  stamp set and have been wanting to create something with is so this was perfect. I did a bit of mask stamping to crate my floral stamped image.  I was then planning on using pencils but my hands went to my watercolors.
