Color Dare #421 ~ Love of Color

Welcome to another week of Color Dare! This week we have a Love of Color board for you. The colors are SCARLET, PAPRIKA, SUNDANCE, SAGE, MINT, and DESERT ROSE. You must choose at least 3 of the colors. You can add Black, White, and Metallics for free.

I chose all the colors except Paprika. I even used some cooper for accents.

I decided to play around with some of our awesome thin cuts (die cuts). I started with Stitched Lattice Background Thin Cuts. I paired Desert Rose with the Mink cardstock behind. I then used the bracket and sentiment from the So Happy Together stamp set and thin cuts . I used the Stitched Florals Stamp Set and Thin Cuts. I stamped the Sentiment with VersaMark and then used Copper Tinsel Embossing Powder. I added a couple of Rose Gold Loose Sequins for a finishing touch.

Now it is your turn to create! Heart 2 Heart ~ Blue Belle

Welcome to another Heart 2 Heart Challenge!

This week our challenge is Blue Belle which is the Color of the Year for Close To My Heart. This is one of my favorites so far! It is so pretty and works wonderfully for winter in my opinion. I designed a fun layout for this challenge. Please remember if you are going to play along please be sure to include at least one Close to My Heart Product.

I designed this layout using the Make It From The Heart Volume 3, pattern 15. I used the Seasonal Mix-in Papers.

I realized I forgot to print one of my photos so I used a place holder for now. I used a white spray paint which is in my stash for the splatters on the Blue Belle cardstock. I used Sapphire cardstock to back the photos. I cut the Sledding fun with my Cricut using Blue Belle Glitter paper and French Vanilla Cardstock. I used the fun Elegant Snowflakes Stamp and Thin Cuts. I stamped the snowflakes in Blue Belle then used the Blue Belle Shimmer Pen and some Diamond Stickles Glitter Glue.

I also used some Blue belle shimmer trim at the top of the photo blocks. I love these colors as they coordinate so well with my son’s coat.

Now it is your time to create something and link it to the HEART 2 HEART Challenge. You have until November 30th to participate in this challenge. Make sure you include at least one Close to My Heart product. We love to see your inspirations!!
