Color Dare #339 ~ Tic-Tac-Toe Mix Up

This week we have another Fun Color Dare Challenge for you.  This week for Color Dare #339 we have our popular Tic-Tac-Toe board with a mix of colors.  For this challenge you can use any diagonal, row or column, you can add in any of the other colors and Neutrals are free!

I went with Fern, Raspberry and Carolina with neutrals.

To create the cloud background I cut cloud shapes on my Cricut and used them as a mask. I used Carolina ink and my sponge to apply the ink.  The grass was cut using Fern cardstock with using one of the Decorative Border Thin Cuts. The stamp set is one from Technique Tuesday, Henrietta Hedgehog. I used my Copic markers to color.  I figured this would make a fun birthday card or really a card just to brighten someone’s day.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~ Color Dare #339 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Fun with Stencils

Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop!  This month there are 8 of us highlighting Fun with Stencils. This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork incorporating this technique.

If you are coming from MICHELLE LONCAR BLOG, you are on the right track!

So I decided to to utilize one of the succulents from the Flower Market Cricut Cartridge. So I cut them at varying sizes along with the base layer.

Then I placed the cut outs on white cardstock starting in the middle.  Once the succulent was sponged I then took the base layer and masked that spot.  I then layered all the different succulents, sponging and masking as I added layers.

This is how the base turned out.  I then added a sentiment.

I used the Little Dreamer Paper Pack for the strip and Blossom cardstock for the oval.  I used the new oval thin cuts.

Thanks for stopping by!  Please continue onto JUDY FAYE GARNER’S BLOG where you will find some additional artwork highlighting this technique!  Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you thought of my variation and happy hopping!
