Color Dare #417 ~ One+One+One

Welcome to another week of Color Dare!  This week we have a good one for you.  This weeks challenge is a little different! Here is how it works pick one of the Neutrals seen in the first square, then pick Gold or Silver, then you will choose one color for your design. Note BLACK and WHITE are Free.

I went with Grey, Wisteria and Silver with white.

I used the Olive Branch Background Thin Cut to cut the Silver Foil paper. I then backed with Wisteria cardstock. I then used the Treasured Memories Stamp Set to stamp the flowers in Wisteria and the sentiment and leaves in Charcoal. I did fussy cut those items. I also used the Stitched Oval Thin Cuts. I then added a bit of liquid pearls to the centers of the olives. I did add Wisteria ribbon behind the oval.

For this second card I used the same Olive Branch Background Thin Cut and this time used the Silver Glitter Paper. I used Sangria cardstock to back it. I also used the Sangria ribbon behind the Black Cardstock cut with the Stitched Oval Thin Cuts. I then stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink and then used silver embossing powder.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~  Color Dare #417  or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Holiday Sparkle/Seasons of Joy Blog Hop

Welcome to the Holiday Sparkle and Season of Joy Blog Hop!!

You will be hopping with the same talented consultants who bring you the Stamp of the Month blog hop.  For this hop we are featuring artwork which showcases our current special HOLIDAY SPARKLE and our new Cricut Cartridge SEASON OF JOY. I am sure you will find a wide variety of inspirations on this hop.

If you are just arriving here from MELISSA ROBINSON’S Blog, or just starting at my blog then you are on the right track ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.   For this hop we have about 14 consultants participating and you are going to see some fabulous artwork.

I decided to play around with the LOVE WITH ALL THE TRIMMING stamp set as I think this stamp set is super awesome!  Not only can you use it with the Holiday Sparkle shaker cards you can also use it to create your own cards.

For my first card I decided to use my Silver embossing powder to add a sentiment in the shaker window.I also used the Silver embossing powder with the snowflakes for the LOVE WITH ALL THE TRIMMING stamp set.  I then pulled some of the stars out of my Loose Silver Sequins to add a bit more bling to my card.

I then decided to create my own card using the LOVE WITH ALL THE TRIMMING stamp set.

For this card I used the new Snowflake thin cuts.  I arranged them on my Sapphire cardstock.  I then pieced the loose pieces of the snowflake to my card so that I was actually using the negative space instead of the cut snowflakes.  I then use the new Silver Embellishing Thread with the Silver Glitter paper.  I added a couple of the white Loose Silver Sequins to my card to look like snow.

Your next stop is along this hop is MELINDA EVERITT’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creations she has for you today.

Happy Crafting!
