I really love all of these wonderful sentiments! I had a hard time deciding which one I wanted to go with…. Here is what I came up with.

For this card I started with the new Seasonal Mix-in papers. I love lagoon and glacier but needed to add a pop of something else, so I went with Pixie. I used the new Scalloped Thin Cut with the White Daisy and then sponged a bit of Pixie ink to the center. I stamped the sentiment in Black ink. I added a bit of shimmer with the new Soft Pink Shimmer Trim. I added a couple of flowers I cut with my Cricut in Lagoon and Pixie. I added the new Lagoon Shimmer Brush to the center of the flowers.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of JANUARY and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

Technique Blog Hop ~ Season to Sparkle

Welcome to the Technique Blog Hop!

This month we are focusing on things that sparkle.   This could be sequins, glitter, stickles or even embossing powders, just to name a few. This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork. If you are coming from MELISSA ROBINSON’S Blog, you are on the right track! If you get lost you can find a full list of participants HERE.

I decided to make a card that wasn’t holiday related, so I went with birthday! I used my Cricut to cut the star with Glacier cardstock. I used the sentiment from Birthday Greetings Stamp Set. I used the Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts to cut the Julep Glitter paper frame. I stamped the stars in Black and Julep.

I added the Diamond Stickles to the center of a couple of the stars. I also used Black Shimmer brush to the bolder words of the sentiment. Unfortunately it is hard to see in the photos.

Thanks for stopping by!  Please continue onto KRISTA HERSHBERGER’S BLOG where you will find some additional artwork!  Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you thought and happy hopping!
