Happy New Year and welcome to the January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

If you are coming here from DARLYS RECKER’s BLOG, then you are in the right spot ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating Makers on Melinda’s blog HERE, we have about 12 Makers on this hop.

I love these images and had fun making a few cards.

For this card I used the Make it from Your Heart Volume 5 pattern 30. I used the Sawyer Paper with Grape Cardstock. I added a few of the Grape Gems. I did fussy cut the image of the rabbits and popped them up using foam tape.

With this card I created a shaker with the cute mouse. I added Grape Gems and Iridescent Flowers to the shaker. I also used the Happy Birthday Shaker Thin Cut for the top of the shaker in Pewter Cardstock. I really wanted to add “sweet friend” to the card but could not find the a stamp that worked so I turned to my Cricut and wrote my own. The paper is from the Nov-Dec Seasonal Mix-In.

With my third card I used the Make it from Your Hear Volume 4 pattern 4. I used the Sweet as Honey Papers with Sundance Cardstock. I added some splatters with the Sundance Shimmer Brush. The sentiment if from the Craft with Heart Card Kit that just retired. I added a couple of black dots.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of JANUARY. If you are a member of the Close To My Heart VIP program and you place a qualifying order of $50 in the US, you will get the stamp for FREE!! I decided to play around with some of the new colors and our awesome new stencils.

How much fun is this new color Capri?? I started by using the Card Front Stencil 2 for my main paper and used Mermaid Lagoon Oxide ink. I then used the Stitched Rectangle Thin Cut and matted the paper on Capri Cardstock. The Daisy White circle was cut using the Circle Thin Cuts and the Capri circle was cut using the now retired stitched circle thin cuts. On the Daisy White circle I used two stamp sets ~ Embroidered Circles Stamp Set & For All Occasions. I used a bit of Capri Glitter Paper.

Okay I am not a pink person but this Wild berry color is awesome! I did pretty much the same as the card above but added the Wild Berry Ribbon and Wild Berry Sequins.

For this card I wanted to show off the great flower sequins that are in the Wild Berry Sequins. Yes, I did pick them out. I created my Shaker Flowers by using a Cricut cut from the Serenity Collection from CTMH which I modified. I added some foam tape behind the flower to make a shaker. The leaves are from the a thin cut set that has been retired. I sponged the Mermaid Lagoon Oxide ink onto Daisy White cardstock using the Stencil Pack 1. I then used the Stitched Rectangle Thin Cut for the black frame. The sentiment is from For all Occasions stamp set.

Baby Shaker Cards

Don’t you just love the Georgie paper pack?? I know its obvious use is for baby theme projects.  I have had fun using it for other uses but decided it was time to work on baby items.  I needed some baby cards since I know a few mamas to be. I though it would be fun to make shaker cards.
