Color Dare #320 ~ New England Ivy, Candy Apple, and Kraft

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #320 we are challenging you to use these colors:NEW ENGLAND IVY, CANDY APPLE and KRAFT.  If you do not have these Close to My Heart colors you can choose a close match. You are able to use neutrals – Black, Grey, Brown, Kraft, Cream and White in your design but NO OTHER COLORS.

I was playing around with my Season of Joy cartridge and used it to create this card.

For this card I used kraft for my base and the deer.  I used Red Glitter paper and my Red Shimmer Brush, although it is hard to see the shimmer.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~ Color Dare #320 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Merry Christmas Blessings Blog Hop

Welcome to the Merry Christmas Blessings Blog Hop!

You will be hopping with the same talented consultants who bring you the Stamp of the Month blog hop.  For this hop we are featuring artwork which showcases anything to do with the Christmas Holiday. I am sure you will find a wide variety of inspirations on this hop.

If you are just arriving here from BRENDA LAPP’S Blog, or just starting at my blog then you are on the right track ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.   For this hop we have about 15 consultants participating and you are going to see some fabulous artwork.

I wanted to play around with the new Season of Joy cartridge a bit more so that is where I went for my inspiration.

I love the mistletoe and knew this would be my focus.  I selected the Red Glitter paper to cut the Merry Kiss-mas. I used fern to cut the mistletoe.  I then decided to use the stitched border from the Decorative Border Thin Cuts.  Then I matted it on the holly paper for the Tis The Season Paper Pack.  I then felt something was missing…. I decided to use my Red Shimmer brush to and then a dot of Liquid Glass to give it a 3-D effect.

Your next stop is along this hop is WENDY KESSLER’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creations she has for you today.
