I love fall!!! It is my FAVORITE time of year. I have been having a lot of fun playing with this stamp set.

So I love the Build a Plaid Stamp Set so I decided to make a couple of fall feeling plaids. I used Fern, Saffron, and Paprika inks to create the two plaids.

For this card, I created the plaid then using the Layered Leaves Thin Cuts. I added the corrugated paper from Hawthorn and used French Vanilla, Fern, and Paprika cardstock. I used the Copper Tinsel Embossing powder with my VersaMark Ink to stamp the “is in the air”. I used the White Burlap Ribbon with a button from my stash!

With this card I used the Build a Plaid Stamp Set to create the background plaid. I then stamped the Fall and the acorns with Espresso Pigment Ink. I then used ton on ton for the leaves then fussy cut them.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of OCTOBER and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

Color Dare #359 ~ Love of Color

Happy Friday!  This week we have another Fun Color Dare Challenge for you.  This week for Color Dare #359 it is our Love of Color.  This week our colors are  GOLDRUSH, NEW ENGLAND IVY, SAGE, SMOOTHIE, PEACH, and LINEN.  Simply choose at least 3 of the Colors – Black and White are neutrals are free.

I though of fall when I saw these colors so that is the direction I went in.

For this card I cut one of the Layered Leaves Thin Cuts and cut out the Maple leaf from Linen cardstock. I stamped the sentiment which is from the Random Acts of Cardness Stamp Set. I then used the new Stitched Circles Embossing folder on the base. The detailed Maple Leaf is cut in New England Ivy. I then backed the space behind the maple leaf with Smoothie cardstock that I created a tone on tone plaid with the Build a Plaid Stamp Set.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~  Color Dare #359  or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, September 19th, 2019 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.
