New Product Blog Hop

Welcome to the November-December New Product Blog Hop!

You will be hopping with the same talented consultants who bring you the Stamp of the Month blog hop. For this hop we are featuring artwork which showcases the New Products from the November/December Idea Book. I am sure you will find a wide variety of inspirations on this hop.

If you are just arriving here from MELISSA ROBINSON’S Blog, or just starting at my blog then you are on the right track ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.   For this hop we have about 20 consultants participating and you are going to see some fabulous artwork.

I have been on a kick using the Cedar & Pine – Cardmaking Stamp Set and Thin Cuts. I really love this nutcracker!! With the ability to change mustaches, hats, add a drum, and even ink color for the hair. You can watercolor him or use markers. I went with watercolors. I stamped him in black pigment ink then used clear embossing powder. The tree is from Complete Creativity and was cut using both sided of Evergreen cardstock.

I then used the Gold Embellishing Thread to wrap around the tree. I then created ornaments with Stickles, I used Christmas Red, Green, and Golden Rod.

Your next stop is along this hop is WENDY KESSLER’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creation she has for you today.

Color Dare #367 ~ Love of Color

Happy Friday!  This week we have another Fun Color Dare Challenge for you.  This week for Color Dare #367 it is our Love of Color.  This week our colors are  PEACOCK, EGGPLANT, GLACIER, LAGOON, BALLERINA, and SAFFRON.  Simply choose at least 3 of the Colors – Black and White are neutrals are free.

I chose to use Goldrush, Sangria, New England, Black, White and Toffee.

For this card I used Sangria, New England Ivy, Goldrush and Daisy White cardstock. I used the Stitched Circle Embossing folder on the Sangria Cardstock. The patter goldrush is from my stash. I used the Cedar & Pine Cardmaking stamp and thin cuts. I colored the nutcracker using my inks, which is a fun way to color images. Simply squeeze the stamp pad before opening, then use the watercolor bush on the ink that is now on the top of the stamp pad. I used Goldrush, New England Ivy, Sangria and Toffee inks.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~  Color Dare #367 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Happy Crafting!
