Northern Lights

I saw this amazing card created with a fellow consultant Sandy Zimmer and knew I had to recreate something like it.

This background is completely sponged. I started by stamping my wolf from Wild and Free Stamp set in Black pigment ink, then used Clear Embossing Powder. I then made a wolf mask by stamping it on a scratch paper and then fussy cutting. I stamped the evergreen trees from Aurora ~ Scrapbooking Stamp set. I used the Black pigment ink, then used Clear Embossing Powder like I did for the wolf. I did use the mask of the wolf when I stamped to make the trees appear to be behind the wolf. Then I started with the background. I used Mint, Carolina, Pixie, Raspberry, Canary and Peacock inks for the sky. I used Charcoal and Evergreen or the ground. I did use the wolf mask to prevent discoloring the wolf. To soften the norther lights I spritzed our stamp cleaner. I then used my embossing pen to dot the background. I then used white embossing power to make the stars. I used my markers to color the wolf. I then used my Rectangle Thin Cuts to get the stitched border.

I have stamped the inside of this card with a Happy Father’s day as I know my husband would love this card.

Happy Crafting!
