Color Dare #433 ~ Tic-Tac-Toe Board

Welcome to Color Dare #433!! This weeks color dare is a fun Tic-Tac-Toe board which uses random colors and not based on a paper pack. You can choose any column, row, or diagonal. Blacks, Whites, Neutrals, Gold and Silver are FREE. We love to see your ideas so pleas play along with us!

I could not resit playing with some of the new products that Close to My Heart will be releasing in just a couple of days. So you are getting a SNEAK PEEK at a couple. I went with the diagonal Lilac, Flamingo and Glacier. I did add in silver and some neutrals.

The sneak peeks are the heart paper which if from the upcoming Seasonal Mix-ins, the adorable girl is Olivia which is one of four cute girls who will be making their debut. The other two sneak peaks are the sentiment and the dots. I used the Make it From Your Heart Volume 4 to design this card.

I used the Flamingo Shimmer trim and Flamingo Shimmer Brush. to add the pops of Flamingo with the Lilac and Glacier. The Dots are also flamingo.

I added a Silver Foil Paper behind the White Daisy. Olivia was colored using my Spectrum Noir Markers. I did add a touch of Silver Marker to her bracelet and earrings, which I hope you can see here.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~  Color Dare #433  or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page. I am so in love with this stamp set!!! Close to My Heart came out with this cute stamp set and thin cut Gnome Matter.

I ordered these MiniWish Co Confetti which has little mushrooms and knew it would be perfect with these Gnomes. I also paired with with Stitched Together paper pack as the colors worked perfectly. I used Sweet Leaf cardstock for the base layer. I then cut the next layer using the Stitched Rectangle Thin cuts.

Happy Crafting!!

Stampers with an Attitude ~ New Product Showcase

Welcome to the Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop!  The blogger in front of me is RENEE TANNER of .   The Stampers with an Attitude are excited to show you some Artwork with an Attitude using product from our new Autumn/Winter Idea Book, so here we go.

BabyCakes Layout_Dog days of summer

I really love the Babycakes paper pack.  I wanted to showcase that even though some of the papers are geared to a baby, you could totally use it for anything as the colors are just splendid.   I used one of the layouts from the Make it from your Heart volume 2.   If you don’t know about these wonderful tools then you are missing out.  I love all the how to programs that are available through Close to My Heart.  When I am ready to scrapbook or make cards I will pull out my books for inspiration.  On this layout I used the Babycakes Complements which again show you it does not have to be a baby layout.  I am actually using this layout for my first Scrapbook Workshop which will begin in September.

Babycakes Open house card

This week myself and a fellow Close to My Heart consultant held a joint card workshop and open house.  We had a great time and those who came to the card workshop were able to complete 10 cards which featured the papers in the new idea book.  This was one of the cards I designed.  I was able to use my Silhouette to cut the monkey, giraffe, lion, and pennants.   I really like the new bronze shimmer trim as it adds that little bit of bling.  This card was created using the Babycakes Workshop on the Go and Wild Wonders stamp sets.

Now hop on over to VICKIE O’DELL at www.heartfulstamper.blogspot.comand see what she had created.
