One of my favorite stamps is the Remarkable Wreath. I was so excited that they brought it back for this sale!!! You will definitely want to check out this amazing sale as there are some wonderful stamps that have been brought back from the past. Decided to create a card using the Seasonal Mix in papers and the Spruced Up papers. I focused on Sangria and Julep. I used Mink for the base. To stamp the wreath I used Expresso and Sangia. I then added a bit of Glisten Stickles to the center of each of the flowers. I used a sketch I found on Pinterest.

Your next stop is along this hop is BRENDA LAPP’S Blog  so hop on over and see what wonderful creation she has for you today. Please share your thought with me before you go.

Technique Blog Hop ~ Season to Sparkle

Welcome to the Technique Blog Hop!

This month we are focusing on things that sparkle.   This could be sequins, glitter, stickles or even embossing powders, just to name a few. This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork. If you are coming from MELISSA ROBINSON’S Blog, you are on the right track! If you get lost you can find a full list of participants HERE.

I decided to make a card that wasn’t holiday related, so I went with birthday! I used my Cricut to cut the star with Glacier cardstock. I used the sentiment from Birthday Greetings Stamp Set. I used the Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts to cut the Julep Glitter paper frame. I stamped the stars in Black and Julep.

I added the Diamond Stickles to the center of a couple of the stars. I also used Black Shimmer brush to the bolder words of the sentiment. Unfortunately it is hard to see in the photos.

Thanks for stopping by!  Please continue onto KRISTA HERSHBERGER’S BLOG where you will find some additional artwork!  Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you thought and happy hopping!

Color Dare ~ #373 Black & White plus 3 colors

This week at Color Dare we have a super fun challenge! We are partnering with Double Trouble. So for Color Dare Black and White Must Be Used – Plus Add 3 Additional Colors and No Other Neutrals. Double Trouble Requirement: THING 1: Trouble Maker says, “I went to the Zoo and the Zebra was my favorite animal. Won’t you include something striped (no plaid) somewhere in your project. If you use a black and white stripe you get another chance for the draw.” And the three colors option is to meet the requirement of Color Dare’s requirements.

I was looking on Pinterest for an inspiration since my mind is all over the place with Christmas fast approaching. I found this card and thought it would be perfect. Here is my take.

The black and white stripped paper is from a retired paper pack. The three colors I used is Wisteria, Julep, and Carolina. I added the Wisteria Ribbon and a few Julep Sequins. I stamped Birthday from the Say It In Style in White Pigment ink then used White Embossing Powder on the black cardstock. The Happy dies are from my stash.

I also participated in the Double Trouble Challenge which the following:

THING 1: Trouble Maker
says, “I went to the Zoo and the Zebra was my favorite animal.  Won’t you include something striped (NO PLAID) somewhere in your project.  You can use any color stripe; however, if you use a black and white stripe you get an additional chance for the draw.”

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~  Color Dare #373  or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, December 29, 2019 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.
