Color Dare #448 ~ Love of Color

Welcome to another challenge with Color Dare! For Challenge #448 we have our Love of Color challenge. Choose at least three of the colors for your project. Black, White, and Gold are FREE.

I went for all the colors except Charcoal. I love the Hillside Cottage Card Making Workshop, so I decided to recreate one of the cards using these colors.

I love that these patterns can be recreated with other colors and papers. I used a retired Seasonal Mix in for the peach. The sage is from Hillside Cottage papers. I used Dessert Rose to sponge behind the flowers on the White Cardstock.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~  Color Dare #447  or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page. You can also link up via Pinterest, Instagram, Flickr and  other forums. For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Happy Crafting!

National Scrapbooking Day Celebration Blog Hop

Welcome to the National Scrapbooking Day Celebration Blog Hop!

For this hop you will be hopping with the same talented Makers who bring you the Stamp of the Month blog hop. For this Hop we are featuring art work that showcases some of the AMAZING specials that Close to My Heart if offering for our National Scrapbooking Celebration. On this hop there will be sure to see some beautiful artwork!

If you are just arriving here from WENDY KESSLER’S Blog, or just starting at my blog then you are on the right track ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating Makers on Melinda’s blog HERE.   For this hop we have about 13 Makers participating and you are going to see some fabulous artwork.

I have two favorites when it comes to the National Scrapbooking Celebration. The first is the Cheerful Humor Cardmaking Workshop and the second is the These Little Piggies Album Workshop. I have to admit I really wanted them all!!

How cute are these little piggies? I decided to pull out my Multi Square Window Thin Cut for this card. I also used the Cheerful Humor Cardmaking Workshop for the sentiment.

With this card I used the new Make it From Your Heart Volume 5 to design this card. I did rotate the orientation of the card. I used the Stitched Rectangle Thin Cut to cut the Mink base, once I sadded the squares. I the matted on Ballerina. The squares are from the Hillside Cottage Paper Pack which is giving you a sneak peek of one of the upcoming papers. The sentiment comes from the Cheerful Humor Cardmaking Workshop. I used the Wood Hearts and heat embossed them with Gold Embossing Powder.

Your next stop is along this hop is MICHELLE STEWART’S Blog  so hop on over and see what wonderful creation she has for you today.

Happy Crafting!
