October SOTM – Wildflower Friendship Blog Hop

Welcome to the October Stamp of the Month!

If you are coming here from WENDY KESSLER’S, then you are in the right spot ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating Makers on Melinda’s blog HERE, we have about 10 Makers on this hop.

It was hard to choose which of these adorable images to use. I decided to show you two ways you could color the flowers.

So I went with the cute hedgehog. I used the Oval Frame Thin cut for both of these cards. One was made into a shaker and the other was not.

This hedgehog I use colored pencils to color. I then curved the sentiment to put below the hedgehog. I used the Papaya cardstock on the black.

For this one I made into a shaker. I added the lagoon loose gems. For this hedgehog I used oxide inks and water on watercolor paper. I then stamped the image on the watercolor paper. I then fussy cut the flowers and paper pieced on to another stamped image.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of OCTOBER. If you are a member of the Close To My Heart VIP program and you place a qualifying order of $50 in the US, you will get the stamp for FREE!! Otherwise if you spend $50 in US you can purchase for $5.

Your next stop is along this hop is BRENDA LAPP’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creation she has for you today.

Color Dare 307 ~ Bashful, Charcoal, & Peacock

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #307 we are challenging you to use (All and Only) these CTMH Colors: BASHFUL, CHARCOAL, and PEACOCK.  You are able to use neutrals – Black, Grey, Brown, Kraft, Cream and White in your design.

I am so excited for some of the new products coming next month.  I could not wait to start playing so you will get a sneak peak at one of the new stamp sets.

Isn’t this hedgehog adorable??? I love it!! I stamped it then watercolored the quills, cheeks & ears.  I then fussy cut him out.  I masked the sentiment with Charcoal and Bashful.  I wanted the Bashful to pop a bit more so I used my Bashful Shimmer brush to give it a bit of shimmer.

I also couldn’t resist stamping the inside as well.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~ Color Dare #307 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday September 6, 2018 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.
Happy Crafting!
