Welcome to the Technique Blog Hop!

This month we are exploring techniques that use Shimmer Brushes. Stencils can be used in a variety of way to color, add a bit of shine, or splatter. If you are coming from MICHELLE LONCAR’s Blog, you are on the right track! If you get lost you can find a full list of participants HERE.
Since we have all these fantastic colors of shimmer brushes I got to thinking about a rainbow… so that was the inspiration of my first card.

I used the Red, Raspberry, Peach, Julep, and Lagoon shimmer brushes to paint the background. I then cut the cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Frame Thin Cuts.

The Dream is a Cricut cut from the Everyday Moments collection. I then added a few White Gems.
I also love to use shimmer brushes to add color instead of using watercolors or marker. They are also great to add splatters. Here is another card.

For this card I used Wisteria and Daisy White cardstock with the Stitched Square and Rectangle Frame Thin cuts. I used the Wisteria and Julep Brushes to color the image.

I stamped the image and sentiment in Black Pigment Ink then used Clear embossing powder. I used the A Million Little Things stamp set.
