Personal Layout Challenge #29

Wow can I slow time down?? I thought June was crazy busy but for some reason this month seems even busier if that is possible.  I am falling behind on finding time to get into my craft room.  So my goal of designing a layout a week is a little off course.  So I am about two days behind schedule and my not make this weeks goal but….. who knows 😉

Layout #28 ~ Magical CTMH Convention

I realized I jumped to gun with my numbering last week and that should have been #27, so now I am on #28 :-).  Since I am still in that Convention mode and the Magical papers work well for Disney (as well as other layouts) I would get another Convention 2014 layout completed.

Color Dare #201 ~ Magical

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #201 we are challenging you to combine BLACK, CRANBERRY, CHRYSTAL BLUE, HONEY, SAPPHIRE, WHISPER and WHITE DAISY.

I almost forgot to create something for this week’s challenge, but then I remembered I designed a card for this months workshop using Magical.  However, as I am posting this I realized I did not use any Honey in my design.  Sorry for not following the rules this week :-(.

Sticky Boy

This past spring I sent a valentine to Sticky Boy back at Home Office of CTMH as part of a contest.  From those Valentines that were received 10 were selected to win a Sticky Boy!!! My card was one of those cards.  Since Sticky Boy really only appears at Close to My Heart Convention, I decided it would only be appropriate to bring him with me.  I designed this badge to wear while I was at Convention in hopes of finding him. Or at least celebrate those lucky few who did find him.

I am now home from convention and all I can say is WOW!!! Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop ~ Magical &/or Mini Albums

I so love the bright colors of the Magical papers and they work well for Disney themed layouts. Which on a side note is where I am currently, as I am attending the Close to My Heart annual convention in Disney World this year.  Magical paper pack also works well for other layouts too as here it is for the Fourth of July. This is my 25th layout of my personal layout challenge.

I suspect we will have a lot of MAGICAL participants in this hop.  Close to My Heart came out with a really fun paper pack named MAGICAL which will work well for anyone who has been to Disney!!  However this paper pack can really be used for anything as it is just fun with bright primary colors (check back on my blog over the next weekend).  I have been putting off doing my Disneyland photos and finally have the motivation to complete them.  I have to admit I totally lifted this layout from Pinterest and you can see my inspiration here.  This layout also keeps me on track with my personal layout challenge and brings me to layout #24.

Father’s Day Card

I have a fun Father’s Day card to share with you today.  I really was excited to see the Day for Dad C1645 stamp set.

Day for DadI was so excited to see that it has a stamp with the word Pop.  My dad goes by Pop now that he is a grandfather so it is so fitting for him. Here is the card I designed for him.

I have to admit the letter “J” is one of the more challenging letters.  I chose to complete a layout a JEEP, my son loves all vehicles but particularly one of our good friends Jeep.  I love the new paper packs and although the Magical paper would work fabulously for Disney, it was perfect for my JEEP layout.  Plus this layout works for my personal challenge and is layout number #18
