Zoe Bring My Pack Back Blog Hop

Welcome to the Zoe Blog Hop!

You will be hopping with the same talented consultants who bring you the Stamp of the Month blog hop.  For this hop we are featuring artwork which showcases our fun ZOE Paper Pack which has been brought back from our 2015-16 Annual Inspirations Idea book . I am sure you will find a wide variety of inspirations on this hop.

If you are just arriving here from STEFANI’S Blog, or just starting at my blog then you are on the right track ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.   For this hop we have about 13 consultants participating and you are going to see some fabulous artwork.

I used pattern 13 from the Make it From Your Heart Vol 3.  I love this paper pack as it is great for so many different types of layouts.  I chose to make it an Easter layout.

I used the Egg-Stra Special Stamp set for the bunny, the eggs and the cute chick.  I added the cheeks by using the cheeks from the Paper Pal Base.  The “Hunt” is a Cricut Cut that is part of my subscription.  I also used some of the Zoe stickers.  I did use a couple of the stamps from the Zoe Stamp Set.

On this side of the layout you can see the cute row of bunnies, these are from the Bunny Trail Stamp Set.  The Easter basket is also a Cricut cut that is part of my Cricut Subscription.

Here is the layout with the photos.

I ended up adding a bit more…

I added some sequins from my stash.  I then added the dashed lines for the butterfly trails using my journaling pen.

Your next stop is along this hop is MELISSA ROBINSON’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creation she has for you today.

Happy Crafting!

Easter Bunnies

So with my Cricut subscription I had seen an adorable 3D bunny ~ Dimensional Bunny #M2194511 and knew I needed to make it.  I could not just make one I needed to make a family of bunnies.

It was fun to crate these and look forward to displaying every year.

Color Dare #195 ~ Thistle, Pear, Crystal Blue, Lagoon and White Daisy

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #195 we are challenging you to combine THISTLE, PEAR, CRYSTAL BLUE, LAGOON, and WHITE DAISY.

Color Dare 195_oI was needing to complete my project and I love this color combinations so I figured it would not be too difficult to decide what to create but to it was a bit challenging to narrow down what I wanted to create.  Then I got a phone call from my mom and she was having to put her dog down after 14 years together.  So I then knew I needed to design a sympathy card.

Color Dare 195 ~ Pet Sympathy ~ Calypso ~ Simon Says Stamp ~ PawPrints on our hearts ~ CatScrapbooking.comI realized I forgot to photograph the inside of the card which said Dogs leave pawprints on our heats and I added a few more hearts and pawprints.

For this card I used the following products:

  • Stamp Set ~ Pawprints on Our Hearts by Simon Says Stamp
  • Inks ~ Thistle, Pear, Lagoon and Crystal Blue
  • Cardstock ~ Crystal Blue, Lagoon, Pear, Thistle and White Daisy
  • Paper Pack ~ Calypso
  • Cricut ~ Envelope and Hearts

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~ Color Dare #195 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday June 2, 2016 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

ABC’s Blog Hop ~ C

Welcome to the Everything ABC’s Blog hop!

ABC's Blog HopFor this hop we will be featuring the letter “C”.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “C” element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at LINDA’S BLOG ~ SCRAPPY THERAPY .  If you just came from Linda’s Blog then you are in the right place.

For my “C” I chose my Cricut and Disney’s Cars Cartridge.  I have been working on my son room since we moved.  He is all boy and loves all cars, trucks and trains.  So I have been working on one wall at a time but I have been cutting vinyl vehicles to decorate his room.  I still had one wall left to decorate.  I have cut all the previous vehicles with my Silhouette but since I got the Cricut Explore I decided to try cutting vinyl with it.  Well it worked like a gem and I got carried away.

Cars Collage ~ Catscrabpooking.com

It was really a lot of fun putting these together albeit a little tedious.  There were a lot of layers to some of the designs.  Here is a close up to two of the characters.

Color Dare #125 ~ Snowhaven

This week on Color My Heart we are featuring a new challenge Color Dare #125, which features Cranberry, Glacier, White Daisy, Black and Whisper.  All of these colors are found in the Snowhaven paper pack which I adore!!

Please note we have changed the challenges this year and have added neutrals to the color combinations this year. This means you may not add random neutral colors to your projects. You must use ONLY the colors specified. However, we will allow black and white, unless otherwise specified.

Color Dare #125

I have been needing to change out the shadow box from which I have hanging in our house.  I had designed one for autumn but needed to do one for winter.  So I finally made it a priority since I finished with my christmas cards.  I really love the Snowhaven paper pack and can’t wait to design more layouts.  I have been designing my shadow box inserts so they can be changed out with the seasons using the hook and loop dots, which are just mini velcro dot which are prefect for attaching your artwork. I also design the photo frame so that it is more of a pocket and the photos can be changed out each year.

Just Chillin Snowhaven ~ catscrapbooking.comFor this layout I used my Artbooking cartridge to cut out the Just Chillin’ and snowflakes.  They can be found on pg 76 of the Artbooking booklet.  I was very lucky to receive a Cricut Expolore for Christmas from my husband and I have to say I am really liking this machine.  My expression would not always act normal when I used CCR on my Mac and it would get very frustrating.  The Explore has been way to learn and great for when you want to look at layered items.  I guess it was easy for me to catch on since it is more similar to my Silhouette.  I prefer to work on my cut files on my computer because that is what I have been doing with my Silhouette for years.  To add a little more shimmer I added a little Crystal Stickles to my White Daisy snowflakes along with some bling.

Supplies used:

  • Paper Pack ~ Snowhaven X7188B
  • Cardstock ~ Cranberry & White Daisy
  • Embellishments ~ Sparkle Clear Assortment Z1752, Pink Glitter Gems Z1807 & Stickles
  • Shimmer Trim ~ White Z3024
  • Complements ~ Snowhaven X7188C

We would love for you to play along this week.  Just go to Color My Heart blog and link up your design.

Happy Crafting!
