Easter Banner

With our social distancing and stay at home measures, I have had a lot of time to work in my craft room. I don’t always complete some of the specials when they come out. Not with our Easter Traditions, I completed the Easter Egg Banner.

This special is wonderful as when you purchase either of the banner sets you get eight wooden eggs and the coordinating SVG file to form a banner and cut the shapes. I used the Seasonal mix in papers for eggs and cut using the associated cut files. I then used the bunny from Artfully Sent and some grass are both Cricut Cuts.

Here is a close up of the end eggs.

Stampers with Attitude ~ Taste of Summer

Welcome to the Stampers with Attitude Blog Hop!!  The Stampers with Attitude is the team lead by Kimberly Moss.  This month the Stampers with Attitude are going to be showcasing art work featuring the Taste of Summer Paper Pack!

If you are just hopping here from MELISSA ROBINSON’S Blog  then you are in the right spot.  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating consultant at the end of my blog.

I have been working on seasonal home decor for our house and love creating banners and wreaths.  I am needing some summer decorations and when I saw this paper pack I knew it was prefect!!!  I wanted to make a summer banner and planned to do it all in cardstock but I then found these burlap 4 x 4″ squares at Michaels and knew they would be prefect.

Taste of Summer ~ National Scrapbooking Month ~ #CTMHTOS ~ catscrapbooking.comI used my Cricut to cut the frames.  I used the 4 x4 photo frame from pg 81 in the Artbooking cartridge. The larger is cut at 3.5″ by 3.5 ” (I did unlock them in Design Space to make frame square) and the smaller is 3.25″ x 3.25″.  I used Pickwick font to crate the “SUMMER” on my Cricut Explore, but in order to create the outlined I used my Silhouette (as I am not aware of Cricut’s ability to do this using Design Space).

Taste of Summer Banner ~ S ~ National Scrapbooking Month ~ #CTMHTOS ~ catscrapbooking.comI used liquid glass on the center of the fruit to give it the shine and effect of being juicy. Taste of Summer Banner ~ U ~ National Scrapbooking Month ~ #CTMHTOS ~ catscrapbooking.com

Autumn Banner

I have been seeing all the wonderful creations that people have done using the banners.  I have been wanting to create my own.   So when I saw the Flirty paper I knew this was the paper.  I love fall so what a perfect place to start.

I used owls and fall leaves as the theme.

Using the August Stamp of the Month I stamped the letters in Desert Sand. For the rosettes I used Desert Sand card stock. The flower shape medallion was done in chocolate card stock.

The leaves were cut out from Flirty yellow, Ponderosa and Desert Sand card stock.

The owl was my favorite. I used buttons for the eyes with a black hole punch in the center. I repeated the rosette for the eyes.
