I used Wild Berry as accents with our January Stamp of the Month ~ Sweet Little Things.

I used a paper from the November/December Seasonal Mix -in for the background. I used the 3 inch thin cut to cut the circle to showcase the adorable bear. I used my Wild Berry, Sundance, and Rosemary Shimmer Brush to color the flowers, ground and bee. I used my markers to color the bear. I added some Wild Berry Flowers and Wild Berry Ribbon. The sentiment is from the Craft with Heart Card Workshop that just retired.

Now it is your time to create something and link it to the HEART 2 HEART Challenge. Did you know you can link your projects from Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Flickr, and many other platforms using the url link to your design. I love these images and had fun making a few cards.

For this card I used the Make it from Your Heart Volume 5 pattern 30. I used the Sawyer Paper with Grape Cardstock. I added a few of the Grape Gems. I did fussy cut the image of the rabbits and popped them up using foam tape.

With this card I created a shaker with the cute mouse. I added Grape Gems and Iridescent Flowers to the shaker. I also used the Happy Birthday Shaker Thin Cut for the top of the shaker in Pewter Cardstock. I really wanted to add “sweet friend” to the card but could not find the a stamp that worked so I turned to my Cricut and wrote my own. The paper is from the Nov-Dec Seasonal Mix-In.

With my third card I used the Make it from Your Hear Volume 4 pattern 4. I used the Sweet as Honey Papers with Sundance Cardstock. I added some splatters with the Sundance Shimmer Brush. The sentiment if from the Craft with Heart Card Kit that just retired. I added a couple of black dots.

I love these owls! I decided to make a shaker with a winter theme in mind. I planned to use the snowflake sequins that I purchased but I seemed to have lost them in my craft room. I remember when I was taking them out of the box I dropped them then got pulled away. Well wouldn’t you know when I came back to find them …. I couldn’t. So you make do.

I used the Wonderland papers to cut the cover with the Curved Rectangle Frame Thin Cut. I colored the owl with my markers and my silver metallic marker. Since I couldn’t find my snowflakes, I used my Silver Sequins.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of DECEMBER. If you are a member of the Close To My Heart VIP program and you place a qualifying order of $50 in the US, you will get the stamp for FREE!! I did a bit of masking to create this card but I am happy with the way it turned out.

So to create this card, I stamped the image on two separate sheets of Daisy White. The first one I cut out the centers of the lights and used it as a mask to add color to the light bulbs. I used Peacock Feathers, Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserve, Chipped Sapphire and Spiced Marmalade oxide inks. After coloring the bulbs, I used washi tape to mask off the glow lines and add the color. I them masked the sentiment “created to shine” and only used the “shine”. I stamped with black pigment ink and used Clear Embossing power. I used the Stitched rectangles to cut the Daisy White and then matted on Black cardstock. I then added a bit of shine by adding Diamond Stickles around the bulbs.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of NOVEMBER. If you are a member of the Close To My Heart VIP program and you place a qualifying order of $50 in the US, you will get the stamp for FREE!! Technique Hop – “Stamping on Cardstock”

Welcome to the Stamping on Cardstock Blog Hop!

This month we are highlighting stamping on cardstock! So it is up to the Maker to pick the products and how they wish to showcase. If you are coming from MELISSA ROBINSON’s Blog, you are on the right track! If you get lost you can find a full list of participants HERE we have about 9 makers participating in this hop.

Here are the cards I created. I will go into detail about each one.

For this card I used Toffee Cardstock to stamp the Fox from the Wildflower Friendship stamp set. I used Espresso pigment ink and then heat embossed Clear embossing powder. I used my watercolor paints to color the image. I really like how our watercolor paints pop on darker cardstock. I used the Mix-in Paper Pack for the base. I then added a few of the Loose Autumn Sequins.

This card was done the same way at the one above but I used the revers of the mix-in paper for background and I stamped on Kraft paper. You can see there is a subtle difference in how the paints show up.

With this card I stamped tone on tone. I used New England Ivy, Paprika, Papaya and Sundance cardstock and inks. I used a different patten paper from the Mix-in Paper Pack. I used the a World with October stamp and thin cuts. I used my Watercolor pencils to do a bit of shading on the pumpkins. I then added a few of those Loose Autumn Sequins.

It was hard to choose which of these adorable images to use. I decided to show you two ways you could color the flowers.

So I went with the cute hedgehog. I used the Oval Frame Thin cut for both of these cards. One was made into a shaker and the other was not.

This hedgehog I use colored pencils to color. I then curved the sentiment to put below the hedgehog. I used the Papaya cardstock on the black.

For this one I made into a shaker. I added the lagoon loose gems. For this hedgehog I used oxide inks and water on watercolor paper. I then stamped the image on the watercolor paper. I then fussy cut the flowers and paper pieced on to another stamped image.

I am so exited for all the fun new product that have just been released by Close to My Heart! I decided to go with a slimline card for this hop.

I focused on a couple of the new colors ~ Harbor, Papaya, Shortbread with Peach, Paprika, and French Vanilla. I used the new Dots Slimline Thin Cut on Shortbread Cardstock and put Harbor behind. The flowers and leaves are cut with my Cricut using the Pumpkin Spice Digital Art Collection. I stamped the Thankful from the Grateful for This Life stamp set with Harbor ink.

August SOTM – Tutti Frutti Blog Hop

Welcome to the August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!

I have a couple of projects for you today with this fun stamp set.

This week we had the CTMH Virtual Conference and it was amazing! I was inspired by some of the presenters who used oxide inks on our Foil Pattern Papers. I decided to give it a try with our Silver Foil Papers. I used the Seedless Preserves Oxide ink for the background. I love how it turned out!! I then used the Stitched Scallop Bracket Thin Cut for the sentiment. I used the Wood Hearts and colored them with my Black Shimmer Brush. For the larger heart I backed it with Lilac cardstock and added a bit of Silver Embellishing Thread. I used my markers to color the grapes.

I had this idea while making the first card to actually make a bunch of grapes using circles. I pulled a retired embossing folder for the background. I used Grape, Lilac, and New England Ivy cardstock for the grape bunch. I used the 1″ circle Thin Cut.

I used the Isabelle papers to make this Summer layout. I did not have time to get the photo printed but it will be of my son selling lemonade. I used the Isabelle Cricut Collection to cut the lemons. I decided to change the watermelon shape in the Summer with a lemon. I added a few white sequins from the Silver Sequins and the yellow flowers from the Springtime Flowers.

Here is a close up of some of those details. I did add Lemonade Shimmer Brush to the lemons and a few splatters.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of AUGUST. I saw a cute card that was called a bridge card and thought it would be fun for this stamp set.

For this card I used a piece of Sage Cardstock that is 4 1/4″ x 8″. I then scored each end at 1 1/4″ and again at 2 1/2″. I added two panels cut from the Seasonal Mix-in. to the front. I cut the square with the Stitched Square Thin Cuts. I stamped the house on the stitched square and colored it with my markers.

Here is what it looks like when you start to open the card.

Here is the card open. I cut the heart with my Cricut. I inked the edge of the heart with toffee ink and stamped the keys in toffee. I did fussy cut them. I added a couple of the Gold Glitter gems for a bit of bling.
