So I love this paper pack and think it will make some great Valentine’s creations. I decided to use it in another way. I had some photos printed and was looking for the right papers, Smitten was perfect! I used the Make it from Your Heart Volume 3 pattern 8.

I focused on the Nectarine and Capri colors. I used the a Stencil from the Stencil Bundle or Stencil Pack 2 (which is currently not available) with Spiced Marmalade and Mermaid Lagoon Distressed Oxide Inks to make the stars. I did spritz them with a fine mist of water. I used my Cricut to cut the Family and the “Time” is stamped using For All Occasions stamp set.

Here is the right side. I cut the star using my Cricut and used my White Gel Pens to create the stitched look.

Your next stop is along this hop is MY HEARTFELT SENTIMENTS  so hop on over and see what wonderful creation she has for you today.

Happy Crafting!

  1. Love this layout and yes the paper was perfect. I love to show off themed collections in a non themed way so that others too can think outside the box. Love the stenciled background and the white gel pen on the stars.

  2. I love how you used this outside of Valentine’s Day and made it not so “girly”. I always love a twist on products! Your layout is GREAT!

  3. Beautiful layout Cat! I love this!

  4. Gina Brandstetter says

GREAT layout!! I love how you shared that it doesn’t always have to be Valentine Themed!

  5. Great use of the paper in a non Valentine way! I love it!

  6. I never would’ve thought to pair stars with this but your layout is PERFECT!

I love to see your feedback so please share the love.
