Color Dare #456 ~ Color Wheel Opposites

Welcome to Friday and another Color Dare Challenge! For Color Dare Challenge #456 we have a color wheel challenge. Using this color wheel choose two colors from opposite sides of the wheel. Black, White, Naturals and Gold are free.

I chose to go with Blue Violet and Yellow Orange.

I used the Wander papers for the two patten papers. Using the Wander Cardmaking and Thin Cuts I stamped the mountain in pewter and charcoal. I added a bit of Texture paste for them snow covered mountains. I then colored two wooden arrows with my Charcoal shimmer brush.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~  Color Dare #456 or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page. You can also link up via Pinterest, Instagram, Flickr and  other forums. For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Happy Crafting!

Great card Cat. Love the addition of texture paste ‘snow’! X

  2. Cat your card is really nice! I love the blues in the background and how it sets off the sentiment layer. Plus those mountain tops are perfect!

  3. Love the chunky texture paste on the mountain tops! What a great anniversary card.

  4. So cool, love the CAS scene you created and the snow tipped mountains… beautiful card.
