Heart 2 Heart ~ Christmas in July

Welcome to Heart 2 Heart’s second challenge of July!!

For our second challenge this month we are celebrating Christmas in July!! So start working on you Holiday cards or maybe get caught up on a past Christmas layout. Whatever you decide we would love for you to join us! We are also partnering with Double Trouble Challenge for Challenge 89 so will be twice the fun!

I played along with Thing 1 and Thing 2.

I decided to use the Black Ore Cardstock with the Stitched Lattice Background Thin Cut. I cut my Poinsettia and Greens from a combination of two images from Comfort & Joy Cricut Collection. The sentiment is from the Jingle Joy-Scrapbooking Stamp and Thin Cut. I added a bit of Christmas Red Stickles

Now it is your time to create something and link it to the HEART 2 HEART Challenge. Did you know you can link your projects from Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, Flickr, and many other platforms using the url link to your design. You have until JULY 31th, 2021 to participate in this challenge. Make sure you include at least one Close to My Heart product. We love to see your inspirations!!

Happy Crafting!

  1. The red and green are so pretty against the lattice background! Black is not a colour I’ve used on a Christmas card, you’ve definitely inspired me to give it a try. Thank you for the inspiration!

  2. That is a stunning card wth the black background! The red just pops!

  3. I wish Close to my Heart was available in the UK Cat because I’m always seeing gorgeous projects made with their stuff! Your dramatic black card is stunning! I love the background texture and the subtle little scalloped edges with the bold sentiment and poinsettia cluster. Vicky x

  4. Wow! I am amazed how beautiful the black background looks with your poinsettia. Great card. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble!
