Color Dare #452 ~ Candy Apple, Glacier, & Lemonade

Welcome to Friday!! Friday means we have another Color Dare Challenge for you. This week for Color Dare #452 we have a three color challenge for you ~ Candy Apple, Glacier, and Lemonade. Black and White are Free along with Silver.

I have been busy with summer plans ~ mostly entertaining my son since he is out of school, so I have not found as much time to get into my craft room. I have had these new products from Honey Bee Stamps sitting in my craft room untouched… gasp!!! Well I was determined to use them for this project.

I love this Cone Flower die, but to be honest making the stem and leaves Glacier, and not a shade of green, is sort of hard for me. I am pleased the way it turned out. I used the Stitched Lattice Background Thin Cut for the base. I then created my own stem of the flower by fussy cutting. I used the Stitched Oval Thin Cut for the sentiment. The Sentiment if also from Honey Bee Stamps ~ Fresh Flowers. I added a couple of Silver Glitter Gems for bling.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~  Color Dare #452  or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page. You can also link up via Pinterest, Instagram, Flickr and  other forums. For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Happy Crafting!

  1. How bold and beautiful floral against that die backgrounds… beautiful.

  2. Cat I love your card! The colors go so well with your design and I love using the Thin Cut background like that.

  3. Steph Mortimer says

Love the boldness of your card and that die cut background is fabulous. X

  4. I love the glacier as the leaves, I know how hard it is to change up the colours sometimes though. That flower likes great with that beautiful white on white background.

  5. Beautiful! I love the white on white & then your vibrant flower on top.
