Color Dare #445 ~ Crazy 8

Welcome to another Color Dare Challenge! For Color Dare Challenge #445 we are challenging you to choose four block from the below image. Black and White are free.

I went with Canary, Flamingo, Blue Belle, Mink and and Embellishments, so I choose 5 of the blocks. Plus free Black & White.

I recently purchased a few new products from Honey Bee Stamps and started playing with them. I used the Balloon Stencil with the large balloons for the base. I used Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, and Stormy Skies oxide inks as they are similar to the CTMH colors. I then used Pumice Stone oxide ink for the small balloon stencil. I then went over with White pigment ink. I used Vellum and Black cardstock for the Bitty Buzz Word dies. I used the Stitched Rectangle Thin cuts and then matted on black cardstock. I then added a couple white sequins.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~  Color Dare #445  or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page. You can also link up via Pinterest, Instagram, Flickr and  other forums. For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, June 3, 2021 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Happy Crafting!

Love this Cat. I really like the way you have layered the mink coloured balloons over the other colours. X

Your card has such movement, Cat! What a great technique to accomplish this, and with such pretty colors, too.

  3. Great use of the balloon stencil to create that background. The vellum behind the sentiment is perfectly soft for your card.

  4. Great use of that balloon stencil to create your background. The vellum behind the sentiment is a perfect touch.

  5. Cat your card is really great. I love all those layers of color. Very well done.

  6. What a stunning card Cat! I love the background you created with the balloon stencil and a clever mix of colours. The bold sentiment and the sequins add to the celebration feel! Vicky x
