May SOTM – Flowers for You Blog Hop

Welcome to the May Stamp of the Month blog hop!!

If you are coming here from WENDY KESSLER’S Blog, then you are in the right spot ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating Makers on Melinda’s blog HERE.  This month we have around 18 Makers participating this month so you are sure to be inspired.

I designed two cards. One is a Tunnel card and the other was inspired by the cards that Close to My Heart designed.

Here is what the tunnel card looks like when you open it.

On the cover I used Scalloped Circle Thin Cut and added one of the You are Enough Sequins. I stamped the inside of the card and colored it with my watercolor pencils and added another butterfly sequins.

For this card I stamped the circular flower image in White Pigment Ink then used White Embossing Powder. Then I applied Oxide inks – Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Peacock Feathers, and Seedless Preserves.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of MAY. If you are a member of the Close To My Heart VIP program and you place a qualifying order of $50 in the US, you will get the stamp for FREE!! Otherwise if you spend $50 in US you can purchase for $5.

Your next stop is along this hop is MELINDA EVERITT’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creation she has for you today.

Happy Crafting!

  1. Stunning work Cat!

  2. I really love how both cards are so different, yet used the same stamp set. Talk about versatility. Great work on the blending of the DO inks too, btw. I just make a mess when working with them still haha.

  3. These are both terrific – I really love the rainbow background card!

  4. These are beautiful- your blending is amazing!

I love to see your feedback so please share the love.
