Color Dare #414 ~ Fall Photo Inspiration

Welcome to another week of Color Dare!  This week we have a good one for you.  This weeks challenge is an Inspirational Board for the Fall!  You can use any of the colors you see in the photo and BLACK, WHITE, GOLD & SILVER and all Neutrals are Free.

I created a card the other day that I featured HERE. I still had a portion of the background I created with our new stencils and decided to use it for another card.

I used  Stencil Pack 1 with the new Oxide inks ~ Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Candied Apple. I then used the new Cheddar Gloss Spray and my Toffee Shimmer Brush to splatter over the background. I added Gold Embellishing Tread to the Wood Buttons that were colored with the Toffee Shimmer Brush. I framed the card using Espresso cardstock and the Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts. The Thanks Die is from my stash.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~  Color Dare #414  or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Happy Crafting!

  1. Your stencilling is amazing. Gorgeous card.

  2. Oh I love your card!!! The stenciling is wonderful. Your colors are lovely and perfect for your theme.

  3. Fabulous card Cat! I love the stencil and colours you have used. X

This card screams fall! I love the shading, the splatter, the bold thanks layered on vellum & then the Espresso to make it all POP!

  5. Very nice stenciling and blending of colors and love the gold splattering. I’m always uncomfortable about splattering thinking it may ruin my project, so if I do anything similar to this I depend on my splattering stamps. Beautiful card.

  6. This card is amazing!! Seriously wonderful, artful and can tell well thought out. The stenciling is gorgeous but my favorite part is the splattering you achieved. If that was me there would be a huge blob somewhere. This is a well balanced work of art. I love it.. Thank you for the inspiration teamie!!
