October SOTM Blog Hop – With All My Love

Welcome to the October Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

If you are coming here from MELISSA ROBINSON’S Blog, then you are in the right spot ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating Makers on Melinda’s blog HERE.  This month we have around 20 Makers participating this month so you are sure to be inspired.

This is such a beautiful stamp set and with all those sentiments!

I designed two cards for you today. I will start with the one on the left.

So one of our fellow Close to My Heart Makers, Chelsey Vorosmarty, and I was inspired by one of her cards to create this card. I used one of the left over Stitched Rectangle Thin Cut frames that I had left over. Because I never know when I will be able to use it. I used it like a stencil to sponge on Peacock Feathers Oxide Inks. I then spritzed it with some water. I then sprayed a bit of Lime Green Gloss Spray. I then colored the flowers with my Triblend Markers. I did add a bit of Glisten Stickles Glitter Glue to the flowers.

For this card, I stamped the heart image on Black Cardstock with White Pigment Ink and then used White Embossing Powder. I then colored the flowers and leaves using my Watercolor paint. I backed the black cardstock with Raspberry Cardstock. I did use the Stitched Rectangle Thin Cuts on the black cardstock.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of OCTOBER. If you are a member of the Close To My Heart VIP program and you place a qualifying order of $50 in the US, you will get the stamp for FREE!! Otherwise if you spend $50 in US you can purchase for $5.

Your next stop is along this hop is WENDY KESSLER’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creation she has for you today.

Happy Crafting!
