August SOTM Blog Hop – Floral Celebration

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!! This month we are featuring August’s stamp of the month ~Floral Celebration a set of 20.

If you are coming here from MELISSA ROBINSON’S Blog, then you are in the right spot ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.  This month we have around 18 consultants participating this month so you are sure to be inspired.

I decided to combine this stamp set with the Gnome Matter Stamp Set and Thin Cut.

For this card I use the stitched rectangle thin cuts on the Seasonal Mix-ins. The large flower was inked with the rock-n-roll technique. I used Canary ink and then rolled in Smoothie. I then used my journaling pen to ink around the flower so it would look more like the others. I colored the rest of the images with my markers. I did fussy cut the leaves and flowers. I used my watercolor paints to color the hill my Gnome stands on.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of AUGUST and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

Your next stop is along this hop is MELINDA EVERETT’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creation she has for you today.

Happy Crafting!
