I decided that I wanted to do something with my card making abilities during this time of Staying Home. I know that crafting keeps me sane and it does the same for you. I have been able to complete a bunch of layouts and was feeling great about that. But I really wanted to do something for others. My son’s school was collecting notes and pictures to give to essential workers. I decided that I was going to drop off some cards at a Retirement/Assisted living facility here in Arvada, CO. I googled the one closest to me and called. I asked if this would be alright and how many residents did they have. So I had a challenge for myself to make 110 cards to lift others spirits. I got to work. I used the These are my People papers to make 15 of the 110 cards. Here they are in closer detail.

For this card I used the Stitched Bracket Thin Cuts for the sentiment. I used the Let the Good Times Roll stamp set for the sentiment. I inked the edge with Pixie. I added some bling with the Pink Shimmer Trim and Pink Taffeta Stickles.

For this card I used the Joy by Melissa Esplin stamp set for the sentiment. I used my journaling pen to doodle and added a few drops of Pink Taffeta Stickles.

I used the Let the Good Times Roll stamp set for the sentiment and one of the flowers to stamp tone on tone with Pixie. I added some bling with Pink Taffeta Stickles.

For this card I used the Joy by Melissa Esplin stamp set for the sentiment. I also used the Let the Good Times Roll stamp set and added Pink Taffeta Stickles.

With this card I used the Pink Shimmer Trim and Pink Taffeta Stickles. I did use a retired stamp from the Random Acts of Cardness as the sentiment was perfect.

Your next stop is along this hop is BRENDA LAPP’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creation she has for you today.

Happy Crafting!
