Color Dare #369 ~ Tic-Tac-Toe ~ Holly Jolly

This week we have another Fun Color Dare Challenge for you.  This week for Color Dare #369 we have our popular Tic-Tac-Toe board this time it correlates to the Holly Jolly paper pack.  For this challenge you can use any diagonal, row or column, you can add in any of the other colors shown.  Blacks & Whites are FREE but NO other neutrals.

I chose to go with the first column – Clover, Smoothie and Candy Apple. I did add in White and Ballerina.

I love the card in the new idea book on page 37, so I decided to make my version of it. I used the Holly Jolly paper pack for the bottom. I use the scalloped border thin cut to cut the Clover. I then found some old smoothie ribbon in my stash. I stamped the Merry Christmas in Smoothie ink and the trees in Clover, these came from the Holiday Trimmings Stamp Set. I added a couple of the Holly Jolly Dots.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors.  Then link them to the Color My Heart Blog ~  Color Dare #369  or you can post them to the COLOR MY HEART FaceBook page.  For this Color Dare Challenge, you have until Thursday, November 28, 2019 at 10:00 p.m. Eastern Time to submit your project.   We love to see your inspirations.

Happy Crafting!

What a sweet card! I love the boldness of the green scallop against the pattern paper.

  2. Love the plaid look and the enamel dots.

  3. That row of Christmas trees is just the perfect touch with the sentiment and ribbon, Cat. I really like the plaid, too. Festive card yet CAS. Great card!

  4. Cat I love your simple design and how you kept the lines going throughout. Very nice card!

  5. Lovely layout and color choices…the Holiday Trimming stamp set was one of my purchases and you have inspired me to use. I still have to make my Christmas cards and this will definitely be used.

  6. This is so cute – the scalloped border really brings the entire card together.
