Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge! This week for Color Dare #315 it will be a Tic-Tac-Toe Board Challenge using the CTMH color palette from HELLO PUMPKIN. Please use and identify the three colors in a row of your choice; however we will allow any or all other colors from the Challenge Board to be included. You can check out the rules on our blog.
I went with the bottom row ~ Lagoon, Candy Apple, and Black. I added White as my neutral.
I made a stencil using Polka Dot Overlay from Artbooking Cricut Cartridge. I then used the glossy texture paste on the black cardstock. I then used the Fabulous Birthday Stamp Set with Charcoal, Black, Lagoon and Candy Apple inks. The lagoon pattern paper at the top is part of one of the PML cards in the Hello Pumpkin paper pack. I used the Make it from Your Heart Volume 4 to make my card.

I decided to play around with the LOVE WITH ALL THE TRIMMING stamp set as I think this stamp set is super awesome! Not only can you use it with the Holiday Sparkle shaker cards you can also use it to create your own cards.
For my first card I decided to use my Silver embossing powder to add a sentiment in the shaker window.
I also used the Silver embossing powder with the snowflakes for the LOVE WITH ALL THE TRIMMING stamp set. I then pulled some of the stars out of my Loose Silver Sequins to add a bit more bling to my card.
I then decided to create my own card using the LOVE WITH ALL THE TRIMMING stamp set.
For this card I used the new Snowflake thin cuts. I arranged them on my Sapphire cardstock. I then pieced the loose pieces of the snowflake to my card so that I was actually using the negative space instead of the cut snowflakes. I then use the new Silver Embellishing Thread with the Silver Glitter paper. I added a couple of the white Loose Silver Sequins to my card to look like snow.

Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop! This month there are 18 of us highlighting our new Texture Paste. The texture paste can be use in so many ways to add dimension to your projects, I am sure you and I are going to learn all sorts of fun thing with this hop. This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork. If you are coming from KIMBERLY BOWER’S BLOG, you are on the right track!
I am loving this texture paste!! While I have seen lots of examples of using an overlay with more of a geometric take, I wanted to play around with other types of overlays. I stumbled on the Lilac image from Flower Market Cartridge and was inspired.
I was pleased the way it turned out. The first layer I used combined the texture paste with Gypsy re-inker as I realized I did not have Pansy. The second layer the texture paste is combined with Thistle. I then cut the leaves and stem out of Fern Cardstock. I used the Bunches of Love stamp set and then added the bow using the New England Ivy Burlap Ribbon.
Here you can see the layers better. I topped the flowers off with the Bitty Sparkles.
Thanks for stopping by! Please continue onto VALERIE KAPSHA’S BLOG where you will find some additional artwork highlighting the Masking! Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you thought and happy hopping!

If you do not have these Close to My Heart colors you can choose a close match. You are able to use neutrals – Black, Grey, Brown, Kraft, Cream and White in your design but NO OTHER COLORS.

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge! This week for Color Dare #313 we are challenging you to use these colors: SUGARPLUM, FERN, and EGGPLANT. If you do not have these Close to My Heart colors you can choose a close match. You are able to use neutrals – Black, Grey, Brown, Kraft, Cream and White in your design but NO OTHER COLORS.
I have been wanting to play with the Bunches of Love stamp set and though this would be the perfect combination for this stamp set.
My first card was this one…
But the open space to the left bothered me. So I tried another go…
I like this one better, but what do you think?

I decided to design a couple of cards using the Grateful Heart papers.
Here are the two that I came up with.
For this card I used pattern 2 from the Make It From Your Heart Volume 4. I used the Greatful Heart papers and one of the new Decorative Borders Thin Cuts. I backed the flower border with Pomegranate and then added a little Liquid Glass. I also used the Heart Thin Cuts to cut the Saffron heart. I also added a few Gold Glitter Gems.
For this card I changed up one of the Optional Cards in the Workshop Your Way kit. I changed out some of the papers and the sentiment.
If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of October and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!
