Welcome to the Everything ABC’s Blog Hop!!!
This week we will be featuring the letter “H”. This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment. Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “H” element will be featured in their post.
If you have just hopped onto my blog, welcome! If you just hopped here from LINDA NORMAN’S Blog then you are in the right place. The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating consultants at the bottom of this post.
For my “H” project I decided to make a graduation HAT card (okay it is really a cap but it is still a form of a hat 😉 ). I saw a tutorial on how to make one on a Stampin Up score board so I decided to design one using our Close to My Heart Scoreboard. Start with a 4 1/4″ by 9 3/4″ piece of Black Cardstock.
Step 1 ~ By making this score mark the area to the right is now what I will be referring to as the “short” side.
Step 2 ~ Step 3 ~
Step 4 ~
Step 5 ~
Step 6 ~
Here is how it turned out~
When you open it looks like this~
The lower white cardstock is actually a pocket so you can include money or a gift card.
Here is the full list of supplies used:
- Cardstock ~ Black and White Daisy
- Flaxen Extra thick Twine Z3036
- Stamp Set ~ Crazy Good D1661
- Ink ~ Flaxen
- Gold Sequins Z2012
- Brad (from stash)
Now it is time to hop on over to LAUREN MOORE’s BLOG and see what she has created for you today.
Here is the full list of participants in case you get lost.

Happy Crafting!
