Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge! This week for Color Dare #189 we are challenging you to combine SHADES OF ORANGE & COLONIAL WHITE.
I wasn’t really sure what I was going to do for this hop… When I went into my craft room I had the May SOTM out and decided to play around with it. Here is the finished product:
I used Poppy pigment inks to stamp the cake layers. I then used the watercolor paints to color the cake. I liked how the cake turned out but it needed something so, I added some splatters using the watercolor paints. It still needed some bling so I use the bitty sparkles and coral sequins.
Here is the full list of supplies used:
- Hopscotch paper pack (retired)
- Colonial White cardstock
- Inks ~ Poppy pigment, Sunset
- Coral Shimmer trim Z3088
