ABC’c Blog Hop ~ Z

ABC's Blog HopWelcome to the Everything ABC’s Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter “Z”.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “Z” element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at LINDA’S BLOG ~ SCRAPPY THERAPY .  If you just came from LAUREN MOORE’S Blog then you are in the right place.

For my “Z” element I choose Zipstrip.  What is a Zipstrip you ask?  Well when you purchase the paper packs from Close to My Heart you have probable seen that strip of different pattern at the top of all the pattern papers.  On one side it tells you the paper pack and colors associated with that particular pack.  Well those Zipstrips are awesome for giving you coordinating patterns to accent your artwork.  Since I have been on my Christmas card marathon it was an easy way to add the right touch to this card.

  1. Cute Card. Our minds were working in the same “z” zone. I find the Zip strips handy to use on cards and so very handy to reference the info on the back side – especially which colors match! Sometimes I even forget the name of the paper pack the paper came from so the Zip strip to the rescue. 🙂

  2. What a great idea! I just used some on thank you notes! I love the fussy cut scarf! Great card!

  3. What a sweet holiday card, the snowhaven papers are my favourite.
