Holiday Guide with an Attitude!

Welcome to the Stampers with an Attitude Blog Hop!  I will be kicking off this blog hop, so if you are starting with me the you are in the right spot.   The Stampers with an Attitude are excited to show you some Artwork with an Attitude using our incredibly awesome new Holidays from the Heart Gift Collection, so here we go.

Last year I had purchased a advent calender box which had 25 drawers.  Since Christmas has pasted, I had set it to the side as I figured I would embark on it this year.  Well when I was able to preview the new Holidays from the Heart Gift Guide I was in LOVE!  The Sparkle and Shine paper is so festive and fun, I knew it would be prefect to use to crate my advent calendar.  Then low and behold on the next page was Magical Days stamp set.  OMG this was the most ideal stamp set ever. I could hardly wait to get mine.

Magical Days advent calendar with Sparkle & Shine

For my advent calender the following products:

  • Sparkle & Shine Paper Packet X7176B
  • Sparkle & Shine Washi tape Z1907
  • Magical Days D1552
  • Ruby Ink Z2170
  • Twilight Ink Z2160
  • Slate Ink Z2173
  • Pink Glitter Gems Z1807
  • Bitty Sparkles Z1263
  • Cranberry Bakers Twine Z1751
  • Ruby Chevron Ribbon Z1846

Any of the items marked with an * are from the Holidays from the Heart Gift Guide and will be available to purchase starting October 15th.  I actually choose to use Twilight instead of juniper which is one of the coordinating colors with the Sparkle and Shine paper; it was an accident but I liked the way it turned out.

  1. Ohmygoodness!!!!! This is awesome!!!!!! Please share on our team page too!!!

  2. This is absolutely adorable! I just purchased one of our little cubbies and I cannot wait to make a new one with our super cute new paper. Great job!

  3. Holy Moly! Such a great job!

  4. JUST BEAUTIFUL! I’ve had a cubby set aside since last year too. Your details get a thumbs up!

Did you paint the cubbies white? This is gorgeous! I was going to make one, but don’t care for the Kraft color with Sparkle and Shine. TFS

    • This cubbie actually came white with the boxes. It is smaller than the one sold by Close to My Heart. You could totally paint the CTMH Kraft one. ~Cat

      • Thanks! That also explains why your numbers don’t look too small. The numbers look dinky on the boxes that fit CTMH cubbies. Do you know anything about painting the cubbies–what would you paint them with? Would it require any special prep? Thanks!!

      • I have not painted them but since they can be mod-podged which is water based, I would imagine you could use acrylic paint. the other idea would be just to spray paint as I have used spray paint on other Kraft items.
