This month we are featuring Thin Cuts!!  I love these metal dies!!!  They make stamping and cutting unique shapes a breeze.  If you just hopped onto my blog or arrived from MICHELLE LONCAR’S Blog then you are in the right place.  This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork.

I needed to make something fun for the gift cards for my nieces and nephews.  So why not create something fun. Here is what I came up with.

gift-card-holder-wonderland-wishes-city-sidewalks-catscrapbooking-comFor this one I used the City Sidewalks paper pack and the Woodland Wishes Thin Cut Bundle.  I used the Sea Glass Glitter paper to make the band and Glacier cardstock for the snowflakes which I embossed in White.

With this gift card holder I used the Rustic Home Fundamental Papers and Cozy Christmas Thin Cut Bundle. I added some sparkle with the Red Shimmer trim as the band.

ravishing-ribbon-celebration-star-catscrapbooking-comSo for this project I took a star image and welded it in Design Space to create the cut out.  I then adhered the ribbon to the card base and then attached the Kraft cut out.  I used the Woodland Wishes thincut and stamp set.  I used VersaMark ink and Gold Embossing powder for the sentiment.  And of course it needed a bit more gold bling!
