I decided to focus on the Whimsy Fundamentals for my Card.

I just had surgery on my right arm and I am right handed so I needed to design something that would be easy to put together. I love how with all these coordinating elements make it so simple to put something together.  For this card I used the Whimsy Fundamental Paper Pack, Whimsy Coordinating Ribbon, Inspire Complements, and White Pearls.

During November, save on crafting essentials like paper, ribbon, die cuts and stickers during our Just for FUN sale! Save 40% on bundles of coordinating Fundamentals products, or save 30% on individual items!

A belated Valentine or Anytime Love Card

I am obsessed with foxes!  I saw this set by Technique Tuesday and knew I must have.  I finally got a chance to play with it and made a sweet card for my son for Valentine’s day but it could really be an anytime love card. I saw a super cute spinner card created by Stephanie Davis.   I was totally inspired to create a card with Frederick Fox.

Here is the inside of the card. I use a be my valentine sentiment but it could have been anything.

The true challenge was stamping the reverse of Fredrick.  To to this I stamped him on my all purpose mat then gently pressed the cut out on to the masked stamped image.  I then took a black pen and inked the lines.  I was pleased the way it turned out, although it took me many tries.

thoughtful-flowers-dec-2016I love these flowers and the fact they lend themselves so well to being colored.  I started by just stamping a lot of the flowers on Watercolor paper then decided which ones I wanted to use.  I chose the big flower in the lower corner then started painting.

thoughtful-flowers-december-sotm-catscrapbooking-comI chose one of the vases form Flower Market and cut it in Gold Glitter Paper.  Then cut a banner from Artistry.  The background paper is Whimsy Fundamentals.  Here is the same card but I added the Glaicier twine bow – not sure which one I like better….

For this weeks challenge I thought of flowers (gee that’s a surprise since I LOVE the Flower Market Cartridge -right?).  Well I played around with Flower Market and the With You D1705 stamp set.

color-dare-215-flower-market-with-you-catscrapbooking-comI trimmed the right edge of the card so Cotton Candy would show through.  Here is what the inside looks like.
