Personal Layout Challenge ~ #33

I managed to get this layout completed before I left town but did not manage to get it posted.  Well I guess a day late is better than never, right?   Rustic Home ~ Emerald ~ Train layout ~ CatScrapbooking.comHere is a fun layout using Rustic Home and the new Emerald color.  I also used the new Rustic Home ribbon which is so fun.  If you notice the ribbon on the left that is what it looks like when it comes to you but you can separate it and use the individual pieces to look like twine, see the smoke from the train and around the journaling.

ABC’s Blog Hop ~ T

ABC's Blog Hop

Welcome to the Everything ABC’s Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter “T”.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “T” element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at LINDA’S BLOG ~ SCRAPPY THERAPY

If you just arrived from WENDY KESSLER ~ MY SCRAPBOOKING BLOG then you are on the right track.

I was thinking of what I wanted to do for my “T” element and I was having a hard time.  Since our move I have had a couple of things I wanted to blog about one of which was my son’s birthday invitations.  Then it hit me… My sons Third birthday was a Train Theme!!! I could just post about his adorable invitations.

Third Birthday Trains ~ Catscrapbooking.com

For this card I used my Silhouette to cut the train.  I also used one of my new favorite tips, I used my new Shin Han markers to color the Itty Bitty Sparkles to make them grey.  I also used the Shin Han markers to add the yellow on the banner.

Supplies used for this card:

  • Paper Pack ~ Whimsy Fundamentals, Scardey Cat, Jubilee
  •  Card Stock~ Black, Daisy White, Sunset, Indian Corn Blue, Topiary and Whisper
  • Embellishments ~ Itty bitty Sparkles
  • Stamp Set ~ Hoppy Birthday D1597

Now hop on over to JENNY GILBERT ~ Jen’s Creative Classroom and check out what she has created for you today.

If you get lost along the way just hop back to  LINDA’S BLOG ~ SCRAPPY THERAPY as she has the whole list of participants.

Happy Crafting!
