Triple Easel Card using Tommy Paper

I love all the fancy fold type cards there are out there.  I have been having fun learning the different techniques.  I saw the triple easel tutorial on Splitcoaststampers and knew this was the next fancy card I would make.  I designed this card for my July Card Workshop.

It was a lot of fun to create.  I realized this was not a card I wanted to give away. It now sits in my office as inspiration.

Roxybonds Team Blog Hop – Tommy

Welcome to the Roxybonds Team Blog Hop for July!!

Roxybonds Scrappers

This month we are featuring artwork from the Tommy Paper pack.

If you are coming from Jen’s Blog than you are on the right path!

I know sometimes when you see paper like Tommy which has a nautical theme many people think, well I don’t sail so I will not be able to use this paper.  Well as much as I would love to say we sail, I have to say the last time I went sailing was too long ago to remember.  I designed this page with my son in mind.  The photos I will be using are of him playing outside; unfortunately I did not get to print them to add to the layout before the hop.

Tommy Page kit copy

I love to design page kits and have decide to up grade my page kits.  I will be offering page kits like this for $12 which will incorporate the coordinating assortment which sells for $5.95 (before tax and shipping).   All of the paper will be cut for you and you will just need to assemble.   A photo and directions will be included.   Please contact me if you are interested in purchasing this kit – huskies_mals@yahoo.com.

For this layout I used Outdoor denim cardstock as the base and Honey and Cranberry as the other main colors.   For an accent I used Desert Sands and Cashmere.  Using my Silhouette I cut the rope frames and accents.   I also used the Silhouette to cut the tittle.   I was very proud of myself as I learned how to weld the words together to make this tittle.   It took some time but makes it much easier to mange than dealing with each individual letter.   I use all but one of the coordinating Tommy accessories.

Now hop on over to Kat’s Blog and check out what beautiful creations she has for you.
