I have been having a bit of fun playing with some fancy fold style cards.  I have been playing with one called Joy Fold Card.

For this card I used the Feels Like Home paper pack. To make this card it is actually very simple.  The base, in this card is 8 1/2 by 4 1/4 inches using Fern cardstock.  I then scored it at 5 1/2 inches.  The second piece I used Sugarplum and it is cut to 8 by 3 inches and is scored at 4 inches.

This is what the card looks like when it is open.

For the front I used one of the tags from the Fancy Tag Thin Cuts for the Thanks.  I used my journaling pen around the edges and used White Embossing Powder.  I used the Mink twine and my Sugarplum Shimmer brush.  I used fern ink to stamp the leaves and used first and second generation ink. I created another Joy Fold card for Heart 2 Heart challenge using this stamp set as well, you can find it HERE.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of April and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

Welcome to this weeks Color Dare Challenge! We are featuring a two challenges thin month one with Soft Pastels for your holiday creations.  Please join us by using soft and pastel colors to design your creations.

I was inspired by a beautiful card designed by Krista Hershberger as she used Sugarplum and Snowflakes.

I used Sugarplum cardstock, Ink, and Glitter paper. I cut the snowflakes with Winter Flurries Thin Cuts and the Sugarplum Glitter Paper.  I then used the Holiday Borders Stamp Set and stamped snowflakes with Sugarplum ink. I added a few of the Sugarplum Glitter Gems.

Now it is your turn to create! Just create a project (card, layout or other craft project) using this weeks colors. October Stamp of the Month ~ Thanks & Giving

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!! This month we are featuring OCTOBER’s stamp of the month ~ THANKS & GIVING (S1810) a set of 16.

I decided to design a couple of cards using the Grateful Heart papers.

Here are the two that I came up with.

For this card I used pattern 2 from the Make It From Your Heart Volume 4.  I used the Greatful Heart papers and one of the new Decorative Borders Thin Cuts. I backed the flower border with Pomegranate and then added a little Liquid Glass.  I also used the Heart Thin Cuts to cut the Saffron heart. I also added a few Gold Glitter Gems.

For this card I changed up one of the Optional Cards in the Workshop Your Way kit. I changed out some of the papers and the sentiment.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of October and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

Feeling Foxy!!

Okay I may have to admit I have an addiction…. and it is to this cute critter, a fox!!! I have been purchasing any and all (or at least almost all) fox stamp sets.  I recently saw this cute set by Honey Bee Stamps and fell head over heals in love!

I have been coloring foxes and making cards about 30 all together.

Here is what all the cards look like and then I will show them in smaller groupings.  I made multiple of the same patterns.

That is a lot of foxes!!

I only did a few with this fox, so I guess I know what I will be doing soon…

I liked the blue with the orange of the fox.

I even add some sequences to these as well.

Here is the last group:

Thank you for checking out my cute foxes!

Color Dare #193 ~ Georgie

Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #193 we are challenging you to combine CANARY, CHAMPAGNE, JUNIPER, SLATE, WHISPER, and WHITE DAISY.

Color Dare #193 badgeI love the Georgie paper pack and it is so great for baby theme projects but the colors are fabulous and can be used for many other occasions.  My husband asked me for a thank you card the other day and when I want to get him one from my stash, I realized most were very feminine.  So here is one I created for him.

Color Dare #193 ~ Georgie ~ Thanks ~ CatScrapbooking.comI created the white “thanks” cut by slicing the “thanks” and a rectangle.  The “thanks” is the Artistry font.  If you would like the cut file HERE it is.

Here is the full list of supplies used:
