The awesome thing about alphabet stamps is the possibilities are endless!  I decided to create a bright and colorful Thanks card using Prickly Pear Papers.

I used my Shinhan markers to color in the stamped letters.  I used White Daisy, Tangerine and the Prickly Pear papers to create the card.  I used the blue burlap ribbon and Prickly Pear Sequins.

If you love this stamp set you will want to be sure you purchase it this month as it is only available the month of March and if you spend $50 on qualifying product it could be yours for $5!!

Cardmaking WYW Blog Hop

Welcome to the Cardmaking WYW Blog Hop!!

Today you will be hopping with the same talented consultants who bring you the Stamp of the Month blog hop.  Today we are featuring artwork which showcases the Cardmaking WYW!! What I love about these kits is you are getting an exclusive stamp set plus the instructions, and supplies to make 12 cards.  What is great is you do not need to follow the directions or even change things up a bit.  The ideas are really endless.

If you are just arriving her from WENDY KESSLER’S Blog, or just starting at my blog then you are on the right track ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.   For this hop we have about 14 consultants participating so you are going to see some fabulous artwork.

I chose the Mother’s Day Cardmaking Kit which has unfortunately has sold out. I did not need 6 mother’s day cards, however, I do need thank you cards so I decided to add my own twist to these cards.

So the top card is how the instructions show to design the card and the bottom two thank you cards I designed using the same sketch.  I just pulled a little Glacier and Pacifica cardstock for my stash.

So the card on the bottom row middle is closest to how the kit show to make the cards.  I decided to create my own using the Pacifca and Glacier papers.  So you can completely work these cards to your needs.  It is nice to have the sketches and cutting guides to work from.

Thank You Cards ~ Enchantment

I wanted to share with you some thank you cards that were part of our Convention Make-n-Takes.  We were given an Enchanted Card Workshop which makes 64 thank you cards!!! I finally got around to completing them as that is a lot of cards.  There were two versions of each of the eight card desins.  I decided to add a little bling and change up some of the color combinations.  Here is how they turned out.

Convention Cards 3 ~ Thank you ~ Enchanted Fundamentals ~ CatScrapbooking.comThis was the first design and I did them just as the examples showed.

Thank you cards ~ Enchanted Fundamentals ~ Convention cards 1 ~ CatScrapbooking.comI then began to play around with the colors – I did not photograph all of the versions I made.

Enchantment Thank you cards 3~ Convention 2016 ~ CatScrapbooking.comBy the third set I was playing with colors, ribbons and added embellishments.

Enchantment Thank you Cards #4 ~ convention 2016 ~ CatScrapbooking.comThis is the fourth design.

Thank you cards ~ Happy Times ~ Florence ~ Artistry ~ CatScrapbooking.comFor these two I used Florence and Happy Times.
