This month when you buy any two stamp sets and get a third stamp set of equal or lesser value FREE!

If you are just arriving here from MELISSA ROBINSONS Blog, or just starting at my blog then you are on the right track ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.   For this hop we have about 12 consultants participating and you are going to see some fabulous artwork.

I realized I created this card for my son’s teacher this year and never shared it, so I thought this would be a great time to do so.

I used the adorable School Kids stamp set and dies.  I used my ShinHan Markers to color the little boy and school.  I used Cranberry, Toffee and Black cardstock.  The Alphabet pattern paper is from the the now retired Enchantment Fundamentals.  I then used my back pen to doodle the dashes.

Your next stop is along this hop is MICHELLE STEWART’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creations she has for you today.

Teacher Thank You Cards

I posted a couple of days ago the gift that I made for my son’s Pre-school teachers. I figured today I would share the cards that I made. I LOVE the Chalk it Up paper pack and knew it was my paper pack of choice for my Teacher thank you cards.

Teacher card ~ Chalk it up ~Teacher Appreciation ~ catscrapbooking.comHow fun is this card? I am having so much fun with my teacher theme cards that I want to so some more for next year 🙂 I love showing my appreciation to teachers, I’ve already got loads of things planned for when my son is older. I’m going to introduce the teachers to gradecam, get them helpful equipment and all sorts! Anyway, for the card I used my Cricut to cut the apple and star. The star is actually just one of the basic shapes offered with the Cricut Design Space. The Apple is from my Cricut subscription. I used Chalk it Up, Lagoon, White Daisy, Flaxen and Sorbet cardstock. The ruler/tape measure image is actually from Washi Wonder D1558 (retired hostess exclusive stamp set) which was stamped in Flaxen ink and then fussy cut. I used the Teacher Appreciation stamp set D1612 to create the grid lines on the White Daisy star and to stamp the pencil. Inside the card I used the “thank you” sentiment and the “for all your dedication and effort this school year”. The Lag0on wavy strip at the bottom is from my scraps of previously cut items.

Teacher Appreciation

This week is Teacher Appreciation week May 4th to 8th.   This year Gavin started Preschool so it is the first year I have needed to create cards for Teacher Appreciation.  I love the stamp set Teacher Appreciation D1612

63892605-aa11-42c7-b6dd-cb244449650f

I had seen a card on Pinterest by Blythe which used a notebook style paper stamped with the ruled line which was my inspiration.  I has a lot of fun and created several versions.

Teacher Appreciation ~ CTMH ~ Chalk it Up 5 ~ catscrapbooking.com

Then notebook paper is a Cricut cut from the Artbooking cartridge pg 41. I cut it at 3.25″ wide by 4.33″ high. The tab at the top comes from the Art Philosophy cartridge pg 58.  It was cut at 1.54″ wide by .54″ high.

Teacher Appreciation ~ CTMH ~ Chalk it Up 4 ~ catscrapbooking.comI used my Shin Han markers to color in the owl.

Teacher Appreciation ~ CTMH ~ Chalk it Up 3 ~ catscrapbooking.com

For this one I backed the notebook in Lagoon to help make it pop a bit more on the pattern paper.Teacher Appreciation ~ CTMH ~ Chalk it Up 2 ~ catscrapbooking.com

Teacher Appreciation ~ CTMH ~ Chalk It Up 1 ~ catscrapbooking.comI really love these cards created with the Chalk It Up paper pack.

Here is the list of all the items used to make these cards:
