Welcome to this weeks Color My Heart Color Challenge!  This week for Color Dare #249 we are challenging you to combine  White Daisy, Whisper, Sapphire, Lagoon, Glacier & Cashmere.I saw these colors and thought of the beach and sea shells.  So I though of the Swirly Seashell stamp set and thin cuts.

For this card I decided to stamp the colored cardstock with versamark I stamped the shells and used white embossing powder.  I then took my blending pen and used Sapphire ink on Cashmere shell.  I used Whisper ink and Lagoon ink on the Whisper sand-dollar.  On the Glacier shell I used the Lagoon and Whisper inks.

Welcome to the Thin Cuts Blog Hop!

Today you will be hopping with the same talented consultants who bring you the Stamp of the Month blog hop.  Today we are featuring artwork which showcases the awesome Thin Cuts!! How can you not love these things?

If you are just arriving her from MICHELLE STEWART’S Blog, or just starting at my blog then you are on the right track ~ Welcome!  The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way around.  If you get lost along the way, you can find the complete list of participating  consultants on Melinda’s blog HERE.   For this hop we have about 18 consultants participating so you are going to see some fabulous artwork.

Since we are approaching spring break for a lot of people and many will head to the beach, I was inspired to use the Swirly Shells.

For this card I used Colonial White cardstock for the background.  I then took Sea Glass, Chrystal Blue and Glacier to make the water side.  I created the sand look with Dessert Sands, Champagne and Cashmere using a sponge.  I then watercolored the shells.  I used Sea Glass glitter paper and Kraft cardstock.

Remember that this month you can save 25% on all of the Close to My Heart Thin Cuts!! So stock up now!
