I am a huge Halloween fan so I am so excited about our new Hello Pumpkin papers.  I designed a layout using the Hello Pumpkin Papers and the new Texture Paste.

I used the Hello Pumpkin papers, Hello Pumpkin Compliments, Hello Pumpkin Shapes, and Hello Pumpkin Washi Tape.  This was my first time using the texture paste.  I used one of the Halloween Cricut cuts from Artbooking cartridge. I then cut it using our new Stencil Sheets. I then added a couple drops of Goldrush re-inker (only because I have not purchased the new Tangerine re-inker).

I am loving this Holiday Expression Idea Book and every thing that is in it!

Your next stop is along this hop is MICHELLE STEWART’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creations she has for you today.

Fun with Stencils

Welcome to our Technique Blog Hop!  This month there are 8 of us highlighting Fun with Stencils. This blog hop is a great big circle so you can start wherever you want and continue through to see all the fabulous artwork incorporating this technique.

If you are coming from MICHELLE LONCAR BLOG, you are on the right track!

So I decided to to utilize one of the succulents from the Flower Market Cricut Cartridge. So I cut them at varying sizes along with the base layer.

Then I placed the cut outs on white cardstock starting in the middle.  Once the succulent was sponged I then took the base layer and masked that spot.  I then layered all the different succulents, sponging and masking as I added layers.

This is how the base turned out.  I then added a sentiment.

I used the Little Dreamer Paper Pack for the strip and Blossom cardstock for the oval.  I used the new oval thin cuts.

Thanks for stopping by!  Please continue onto JUDY FAYE GARNER’S BLOG where you will find some additional artwork highlighting this technique!  Be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you thought of my variation and happy hopping!

Happy Crafting!
