thoughtful-flowers-dec-2016I love these flowers and the fact they lend themselves so well to being colored.  I started by just stamping a lot of the flowers on Watercolor paper then decided which ones I wanted to use.  I chose the big flower in the lower corner then started painting.

thoughtful-flowers-december-sotm-catscrapbooking-comI chose one of the vases form Flower Market and cut it in Gold Glitter Paper.  Then cut a banner from Artistry.  The background paper is Whimsy Fundamentals.  Here is the same card but I added the Glaicier twine bow – not sure which one I like better….

Adult Coloring ~ Sunshine Birdies 1 ~ March SOTM ~ CatScrapbooking.comI random stamped the birds, branch, and butterflies on my cardstock with Momento ink.  I decided to add in some flowers which came from Woodland Romance D1683.   I then took out my ShinHan markers and had a great time coloring.

Adult Coloring ~ Sunshine Birdies ~ March SOTM ~ CatScrapbooking.comI have to be honest in saying once I finished coloring I was not really sure what I planned to do :-)…. I just was so exited to color.  Well after thinking on it for a while this is what I decided to do.

Sunshine Birdies ~ You Makke Me Happy ~ Adult coloring ~ CatScrapbooking.comSo I decided t0 trim my colored cardstock and then cut into strips.  I then cut a Flower #m3faee from Artbooking.  I then masked off the You Make Me Happy and inked in Momento, Lagoon and Pomegranate. I then came back and colored the You and Make with my ShinHan markers.

11010304_10206774736873265_5056244779494318833_oI love this stamp set as the font looks like chalkboard lettering so I knew immediately I planed to use White Daisy or Colonial ink on a dark cardstock such as Black.  I was flipping through the photos I had to scrapbook and saw some fun photos of my son with one of our dogs.  I had just gotten my camera for Mother’s day that year so I had it with me all the time.  I knew the “Life is Wonderful” would be a perfect title for this layout.  I decided to mix up my papers and so I used Chalk it up with Jackson and added the Cranberry Twill ribbon to the mix.  I am really happy the way this turned out, take a look for yourself.

Life is Wonderful ~ July SOTM ~ Jackson paper pack ~ Chalk it Up paper pack ~ CTMH ~ catscrapbooking.comI really love the way these paper packs went together even though if you layout all the papers you would never think to use them together.  I used the cranberry to add a little pop of bright color and to match the red in the photos. Here is a close up of the tittle and individual pages.

Life is Wonderful detail ~ July SOTM ~ Jackson paper pack ~ Chalk it Up paper pack ~ CTMH ~ catscrapbooking.comI used Colonial White ink on the Black cardstock ~ I love the way it looks like a chalkboard!! I stamped the arrows the same way.

Life is Wonderful right ~ July SOTM ~ Jackson paper pack ~ Chalk it Up paper pack ~ CTMH ~ catscrapbooking.comThe scalloped border was crated using a border punch I have in my collection.

Life is Wonderful left ~ July SOTM ~ Jackson paper pack ~ Chalk it Up paper pack ~ CTMH ~ catscrapbooking.comHer is the entire list of items used for this layout.
