Creative Inspirations
So one of our fellow Close to My Heart consultants Michelle Snyder, designed this fabulous layout in our Colonial White Shadow Box as a Operation Smile fundraiser. The response was so overwhelming that she shared her creation with her fellow convention going consultants. I truly love this layout and will look forward to hanging it every year.
Isn’t this just beautiful! Just remember at the end of this month you will no longer be able to order the White Pines Paper pack.

I decided to make my life a little easier this year with gift giving. All of family lives out of state so every year we need to ship gifts. My nieces and nephews for one of my brothers are getting to the age where finding the perfect gift is getting harder. So I decided they will have a gift card Christmas. Shipping will be a lot less. But of course I need to design something to put them in. I had seen some Santa belt style gift card holders on Pinterest. I decided to design my own.
I used Artfully Sent envelope and to make the buckle I used Artbooking with a little welding with a basic shape. Here is the design space link to make the Gift Card holder. I grabbed a tag I had made prior which is using a retired Stamp of the Month Home for the Holiday S1410. I have to admit when I planned to make these I intended to use White Pines however I grabbed Ruby so I went with Yuletide.
I really love the way these turned out and it was so simple!!

If you want to buy a bunch of Personalized Badge Holders to start crafting with, my friend did. She said she had a great time working with the materials to make them so lovely and Christmasy.
I was able to go to the Creative Keepsakes Convention in Bellevue WA a couple weeks ago although it was only for a couple hours as we were headed to Portland for the regional MOMS Club luncheon. It was great to be back there and see all the creative ideas they had. One of the venders had these adorable hot chocolate holders which were mugs and they had a Santa, scarecrow and Frankenstein. I thought this would be a cute idea for teacher gifts or just a little gift for someone on your holiday list. So I decided I would host a Crafty Chicks for our MOMS Club and let our members make them. I came home and got to work on the design. I was able to modify a mug that I found on the internet. I then went to my Silhouette to design it and Santa.
Here is the finished product ~ isn’t it adorable?
I hope this will be a hit with the moms in the club as I know I think it is just so precious.
