Waterfall Cards

I have really enjoyed making cards. In fact I did not realize how many cool techniques with card making there are. I really like the interactive ones particularly the waterfall card. Here are a couple of versions.

This Butterfly card was made with the footloose paper, lagoon, colonial white, sweet leaf and olive card stock. I used a stamp set from Technique Tuesday for the saying and butterflies. I then used watercolor pencils to color the butterflies.

This was a card I designed for the malamute rescue I volunteer for. It was fun to use some of my dog themed stamps. I used scraps of my papers that I had around. Cards can be a great way to use left over scraps.

This card was also created using some of the papers I had around. I used a stamp set by Technique Tuesday for the wine theme. I used the CTMH stamp set Life is Tweet for the “It’s your birthday”. The “cheers” was stamped using the Trinity alphabet by CTMH.

CTMH Stamp of the month – June

Every month CTMH offers a stamp set which is only available during that month.  You can buy it at its full price which is $17.95 but if you spend $50 you can get it for $5 which is such a deal!  Here is this months stamp set:

Here are two cards I created using this stamp set.  I can’t wait to do some more, just need to find more hours in the day.
