Apron Cards

I started on a new adventure two months ago.  I was introduce or should I say reintroduced to Wildtree earlier this year.  We have been so blown away by the meals we have been preparing and I knew I needed to sign up.  It has been an exciting journey helping people find new, healthy and simple dinner solutions.  I love the fact that Wildtree is an all-natural and certified Organic company that offers a wide variety of herbs, spices, marinades, dressings, soups, breads and more.  I decided to design some thank you cards for my customers.

Wildtree thank you notes ~ Apron Card ~ Penelope ~ CatScrapbooking.comThis one was designed using Penelope which was also recently retired. The cut file is an SVG file I found on the Silhouette store. I love these cards and they are perfect for my new business.  Please let me know if you would like more information about Wildtree and if I can help you with your meal time dilemmas.

Welcome to the Everything ABC’s Blog Hop!!!

Spring time on the Farm

Here is a fun layout of our trip to the Spokane Family Farm.   I designed using several different paper packs.  I really like the way so many of the paper packs can actually work together.  For this layout I combined Jubilee as the main paper pack with the fundamentals paper pack, Timberline and Skylark.

Guest Designer for Color My Heart

I cannot begin to explain how excited I am to be a Guest Designer for Color Dare!!! I had seen this blog a while a go and had been wanting to start participating.  Several weeks ago I started and it was so much fun I needed to do it again and again….  I highly recommend giving Color My Heart’s Color Dare a try, their color combinations usually inspire me to to create something fun.

This week the color challenge  #98 is Buttercup and Indian Corn Blue.  Here is the card I created.

Color Dare #98 ~ Catscrapbooking.com

It was fun to make this flower using fabric.  I cut a 1″ by  ” strip of fabric.  I pulled some of the strands to make the frayed look.  I then took a needle and used a running stitch on the opposite side of the fray.  I then pulled the thread so the fabric gathered and then sewed it to the other side, resulting in a rosette style flower.

For this card I used the following products:

  • Paper Pack ~Jubilee
  • Cardstock ~ Indian Corn Blue, Buttercup and Colonial White
  • Embellishments ~ Chantilly Fabrics, Opaque flourish, Blue Buttons, yellow bakers twine
  • Stamp Set ~ Artiste Collection Word Balloons
