ABC’s Everything Blog Hop ~ I

ABC's Blog Hop

Welcome to the Everything ABC’s Blog Hop!

For this hop we will be featuring the letter “I”.  This may be the name of a paper, a stamp set or an embellishment.  Whatever the crafter has chosen as their “I” element will be featured in their post.

If you have just hopped onto my blog, please start at the beginning at LINDA’S BLOG ~ SCRAPPY THERAPY

If you came from LINDA’S Blog ~ SCRAPPY THERAPY  then you’re on the right track!

The main “I” that comes to mind when I was brainstorming was the Irresistibles.  I love the hexagons and have been wanting to use the Frames in a project so I then got to planning.

Christmas Gifts

I was able to make a few of my Christmas gifts this year.  It was so nice to find the time to do this.  I always struggle with what to get my mom.  I have found the best thing is to give her is something that I have made.  Then with us living so far away she enjoys creations involving our son.  So I am sure this will be a hit.

For this project I used the 5″ x 7″ Hinged Display Tray.

5X7 Hinged Display Tray

I picked the “Oliver” paper by Basic Grey.  I was able to use my Cricut for the first time to cut the arrow shapes and then used them with the coordinating Dimensional Elements.  I also used the Irresistibles Hexagons which I absolutely LOVE!! They are so cool they way they take up ink.  Then I was able to use the Tiny Type Epoxy Alphabet along with the Dimensional Elements numbers. Here is a close up:

I really love the way this display tray turned out.  Now I cant wait to do one for us.

Happy Crafting!
