I love the Happy Hexagons stamp set!!!!

I thought it would be the perfect stamp set for a layout of my son.Jump in July ~ Hexagon ~ Blossom & Snowhaven ~ boy layout ~ catscrapbooking.comFor this layout I used the Happy Hexagon stamp set C1596.  I decided to mix a couple of the paper packs which you would not usually think to mix together ~ Snowhaven with Blossom.   I also added the Honey from the Adventure Fundamental paper pack and White Daisy and Whisper Cardstock.  I love the way this layout turned out ~ so remember to think outside the paper packs and mix them up.

I used my Cricut to cut the hexagons from the Artbooking cartridge.   The title was cut using my Cricut Explore using Design Space.  I used Enviro and Ashlyn’s Alphabet ~ Block to create the title.  I cut the title twice so that the Whisper acts as a shadow.  Then to add a little bling I used the Coral Reef Sequins Z3042.

Your next stop on the hop is HALEY DYER’S Blog, so hop on over and see what wonderful creation she has for you today.

Happy Crafting!

Father’s day gift

I knew as soon as I saw the Buzz & Bumble paper that this would make a great Father’s Day gift.  I had been wanting to design another frame so this would be perfect.  Unfortunately it is hard to crate something and keep it a secret from my husband since he often pops into the craft room.  So he got one of his Father’s day gifts early….

Fathers day frame

To create this frame I used the My Creations Bracket Frame Z1797, Buzz & Bumble paper pack X7164B, Honeycomb stamp set C1537,  and Burlap ribbon Z1760.  I used the spellbinders tear drop die to make the rosette. I used my Silhouette to cut the letters and hexagons.

Hope you enjoy~  Cat
